The reason the heating hasn't been switched on yet is due to the court case surrounding the death of one of the men working on it.

I don't like their Jarvis Janssen webshop and them selling the kitchenware- aprons, oven mitts etc.... and then robes with pictures from 'Daddys' paintings.... which were created along with Michael Petherick who is now making his own for their channel. Selling those is a bit much.

I was pretty shocked to see this. I visited the chateau a few years ago. Stephanie was lovely. She works tirelessly on her videos so provides her audience with what they want. I know how much money she has put into the chateau and it's an eye watering amount. Running costs are also sky high as you can imagine.
The money she makes on a personal level is of no consequence. Many people have made tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars creating content on a whole manor of subjects. Stephanie is a lovely and kind hearted girl with a talent for many things. I shared a great week with her.
If you don't like what she does then it's really simple to avoid her .

I must say I cannot bear her . She states'she is the owner. The patron days are the most despicable . It's a me me me me horror . Her declaration of being a fasionista was I for me. I unsubscribed a few months ago because the grifting and screeching laughter became too much. Add in the gayonce' to the mix and it became unbearable. She will never get the heating fixed. The list of unfinished projects is ridiculous. The huge cracks on the outside facade indicate major structural problems but she thinks wallpaper will fix it. It's obvious to those who want to see the truth. The Patron money is spent on fine dining, overly priced dresses, expensive hotels and luxury trips. Good luck, Lady Lala-Land. More people are waking up to your schemes.

I stopped watching a couple of years ago as all the laughter became irritating, Stephanie decided to get livestock for slaughter and the sudden appearance of a creepy guy with a tail.

ILLUSION: Tons of us are not as gullible as you may think. We know by now she is not making progress on significant repairs because the funds are going into travel, hobbies, insane parties and decor choices that quite a few of us consider completely gauche. It has made no sense for quite some time why she hasn’t paid real professionals to tackle far more necessary projects than chicken coops, garden trellises, storage room clear outs and pantry reshuffles. Why hasn’t serious progress been made on the facade, the two new gutted rooms, central air, the terrace, window restoration, the lake, on & on. The truth is she needs to pull in triple the amount she is now in order to maintain her desired lifestyle plus make genuine progress. The truth also is, there are way more chateaus that have accomplished far more in 5 years and are vastly more elegant & beautiful than La Lande. What keeps people in their seats is the lives of the people on the show…..however, if you’re like me, even that is becoming super annoying because they do not choose to respect their audience with the dignity of briefly addressing obvious relationship issues, such as: Phillip’s family, Annalise & Dan, Cat & Dan, Amaury & Dan, Selmar & everybody, the Ian’s, Ollie & Camilla and the completely ridiculous “illusive Nick” who won’t be an adult and show his face on camera nor speak to the people who are funding his investment property! Due to these glaring omissions, I for one am dropping out of the race after 5 full years of daily watching. I’m sick of being treated like a child and talked to like I’m in pre-school by someone who acts like a 50 year old fairy……in Never Never Land is more like it!!

This is such a petty video with lots of unsubstantiated claims. You clearly have no idea how much time and work it takes to renovate buildings from centuries ago!

Sept 2025: SJ is currently wearing the frumpiest clothes. She once exuded a semidemi "glam." Have come to the conclusion: she is not very "bright." Yes, she has personality & energy, but after watching for 4 years, I realize there's no "growth" or development in any direction. ~~~ She is a sad and very lonely person, clinging desperately to Snorts/PhiPhi.
