Started investing in etfs 1,5 years ago with just 35€ a week, really the maximum I could spare. It's so nice to see it grow. Up 300€ right now and, tho it's small, it's a great feeling to 'pay myself' and see it move. :)

Hello. Can you make a video for France? Thanks

You forgot to mention Xtb as a broker it’s very beginner friendly.
@Hunt3r1986C"mon man, really ...? Every month 500??? Do you live in utopia already? I am 52 years. I have no savings, but I could invest 250 a month. I am screwed. I have attempted this ETF 21 but no chance where I live. I could maybe join a german STF, but my german is not so good! ..... I wish I had 500 left to invest, ...
@ilovemaseratiYou forgot taxes (27,5% in Austria) for gains... 🤮
@bgf123What about 1k investing per month?
@bgf123Imagine living in the Netherlands 😂😭
@giuliom4886I pick my own stocks and my priority is dividends, not growth...Good video.
@andresvillegas165just a small correction regarding the 10K invested in bonds in 2006 resulting in 12K adjusted for inflation in 2026: that's not "little better than keeping the money in a bank account", it's about twice as better since a bank account would only be worth around 6k in 2026 adjusted for inflation
@charonmeThe Dutch law on unrealised gains is so stupid. What's next? Paying taxes on house appreciation?
Don't let the Eurocrats in Brussels know about this or else whole Europe will be facing with similar laws.

@AshishKumar-k1l6dIs XTB a good broker?
@ruipereira4127Yep, my mandatory 'second' pension fund in Bulgaria is 2% TER and all are the same just because they are mandatory. And they have the audacity to propose me bigger payments xdd
@TeamBGBelchevWhy not invest 1000€ monthly in Degiro or trade republic?
@Douglasfaparanhos... And Sweden: No tax on gains OR dividends 👌
@El_Comandante_AkshuallyI had submitted application for interactive brokers, but they refused my application without any clear reason. Is there any good alternative? I am from Asia, Bangladesh
@anwarhossainanik5156PLease make a video about when you have to change countries within eu
@TheSteOliReally
@YouTubeTesla-r4fGreat video 🙌🏾
@d.omoneychaser5112What is your opinion on Nordnet? They have monthly saving plan where you pay 2,5€ per month and buy as many ETFs you want. This is true even if you invest in 4 different ETFs. If you skip a month, you won't be charged.
@TheStobe84The thing the Netherlands want to bring in is already in Ireland.. its terrible and just turns people off investing. The government would probably make more if they taxed us less because people might actually invest...
@fmc46What about Ginmon from Germany? I'm located in Portugal and I was able to open an account for myself and a custody account for both my kids. They have several portfolios different levels of risk. And you can invest the parked money in money market funds as well.
Great video by the way! Keep up the good work.
As an Irish investor it’s difficult to invest in ETF regularly due to deemed disposal tax rule
@123healypjh1I use XTB platform and recently I opened a second account, this time for my daughter and I'm happy with them
@nunosfBro, what about XTB??
@PetruMarianVereshow do i get acces to the tax portal ? that look realy handy
@DenLokale44good i do invest 2k mothly
@Jin0069Awesome video🤩 👌🏻. Could you please make the same video, but with only 100€/month for a period of 20 years? Thanks 🙏❤
@ksenijak.2650What about investing via Revolut?
@IxNxFxExRxNxOIs it fine to choose a local bank as my brokerage
@b4lthaz4r33If you plan to move for retirement (e.g. to low tax Cyprus) - does it make sense to pick specific type of ETFs, like domiciled in Ireland?
@geekyprojects1353For a working men it's not so easy to invest 500 euros/m and if you have and family with school and others it's not easy.
@imazecoin_channelXTB?
@figueiredraSo guys…I watched a lot of Ben Felix and read a book about Indexfunds…broad diversification works…so I reallocated a lot into the SPDR MSCI ACWI IMI ETF
- developed & emerging markets
- large, mid & small caps
- 99% market capitalization
That’s my 1-ETF-solution
MSCI World or FTSE All World also great but I want the total haystack🙏😅
My concern is how safe it is to trust your investments to a single broker. Wouldn't it be better if you divide your investment between, for example, Interactive Brokers and Saxo? My ETFs are VHVE, IB01, and XUSE
@Schopenhauer-r1lWhat platform do you use to invest in etfs?
@xMr_SebaxI can't believe the Dutch are accepting the tax on UNREALIZED capital gains. That's ridiculous and they are a weak people for going along with it. My people don't even accept capital gains tax on realized profits.
@2189-waliofWhat about Revolut ? You never mention it in your videos.
@greekhiphopeventsbtw, I never came back to comment, because now it's almost automatic for me. Every month I just add part of my salary to one of the ETFs I chose (based on a video of yours).
I started investing in june last year and with zero initial knowledge other than a few of your videos, now I have just under 19% of unrealized gains over the total investment (so much better than 19% returns, as the invested amount has increased monthly; sorry I don't know the terms to explain but I'm sure you get it).
It has been mostly very large, very cheap, very safe ETFs. So it's not even a result of "market gambling".
So in short, thank you very much.
Great video, but you're not quite right about the exit tax. It's about investments of 500k at one time into one company or one fund and then leave. If your portfolio grows to that amount you're fine and within the EU it is no deal anyway. (We also call it idiot tax because if you event 10x 499k in different funds it also doesn't matter. It's just a prevention to use tax holes and the court ruled that it must be equal to all types of capital investments)
@wilde_13does anybody have any ideas to how much of my portfolio should be stocks?, i am 14 so i am open to some risk, i was thinking a 60/40 split, 60% etf's 40% stocks
@thorsteinhaugenschjønsbyI don't understand why interactive broker would be more reliable than trade republic for example. As long as the fees are reasonable and the broker is compliant with the rules of your country i don't see any points choosing another platform
@MonBilly78I'd be interested in your take on Small Cap Value ETFs like the Avantis Global SCV - I've currently got the big bulk of my investments in a FTSE All World and am thinking of changing my investment plan to the SCV one for a while to diversify further and maybe take a factor premium in the long run.
@oaschbeidlWant do you thing about Swedish Avanza?
@hugo-co5zdIs €500 each month in FTSE all-world index (acc) a good choice?
