I personally think until dawn couldve been taken as a more 'so bad/stupid its fun' movie IF they didnt absolutely fail by prefacing it with saying it had ANYTHING REMOTELY to do with the original until dawn game. they set themselves up for failure, all the fans of the game were ready and excited for one thing, and then it was dookie

As a werewolf movie enthusiast wolf man was terrible imo 😅 and on the note of black phone, the original is probably in my top 20 horror films all time. And lastly gotta say companion was in my top 5 this year maybe top 3

I have started watching "The Monkey" on two different occasions and stopped within the first ten minutes both times. I didn't like the campy " Creepshow type vibe of it. I red the short story and wanted more straightforward horror from it. Maybe, I will give it another try now after listenimg to you. I didn' t realize it was an Oz Perkins film.

@hooklineandinkerThe thing that got me about "Together" is that it was directed by the guy that played "Daniel Jackson" on the "Stargate" television series. Can't wrap my head around that. It's like finding out "Flo", the Progressive insurance lady spokesperson, wrote James Cameron's "Titanic".

@thebookishbard1051Until dawn is one of my fav games and the movie was not the same story. Maybe that was a good thing so we wouldn’t compare it when the game was already cinematic. It brought in similar elements that I loved from the game. I loved the movie! So fun. And I think it was actually good. I’m excited for a rewatch. Maybe it should have had a secondary title so people could set their expectations that it’s the same universe different story.

@soulimmortal8487I love the recognition The Ugly Stepsister is getting (probably mostly from word of mouth) Normally subtitled fairy tales aren't exactly my jam 😂....but there's something so beautifully discomforting in watching Elvira unfold in this. The whole cast was stellar - but she was exceptional. My fave 'horror' of '25

I loved borderline, megan 2.0 was cool as well dispite the rebrand. Ray being the killer in "i know what you did last summer" was a lame and dumb reveal.

@AydeminaGoodmanI was so confused by the lukewarm, even negative, reception toward Mickey 17. Like, I recall people complaining that the plot didn’t really go anywhere, but… it’s a character-driven story. It’s about Mickey’s experience and personal development. The story plays out the way it does so that he can be pushed to grow as a person, it doesn’t just happen for the sake of having things happen.

@FitzyFritzI felt slightly gaslit when you showed Happiest season movie and the date when it came out was (2025) I genuinely was like "is this a different movie i saw?" BUT NO the movie actually came out in 2020 lol It's not that big of a deal but just in case anyone else was confused i wanted to say :)

@deana_디애나Drop and until dawn are movies that I dont think you would want to watch when you want something "good" but if you want to enjoy the movie and have fun with it I think you are going to be happy with it. Im so happy you mentioned happiest season, I love that movie

@catscuriousitiesI haven’t finished it yet but YES the scarecrow puzzle in Silent Hill f was amazing!!! I was being a bit 🤏 of a wuss and decided to play the puzzles on the medium setting, just to read something later that said people actually find that to be the hardest version of that puzzle! Should have just done the fog mode hehe ❤
