The 6 Best Situations In MLB Heading Into 2026
Video Overview & Insights
In this video we talk about some of the best situations in baseball for 2026 and beyond! The Dodgers remain perennial powerhouses with back-to-back World Series titles, unmatched resources for ongoing additions, and deep farm system quality despite graduations, positioning them as favorites for sustained dominance. The Blue Jays, fresh off an AL pennant and World Series appearance in 2025, boast a loaded core including Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and emerging pitching depth, with projections placing them near the top of win totals and World Series odds. The Braves are primed for a major bounce-back in 2026 thanks to a healthy Ronald Acuña Jr., a stacked rotation featuring Chris Sale and Spencer Strider, and high projections for NL East supremacy. The Orioles, after a disappointing 2025, aggressively reloaded with stars like Pete Alonso, Ryan Helsley, and Taylor Ward to complement young standouts like Samuel Basallo, Gunnar Henderson, and Jackson Holliday, setting up a strong regression-fueled resurgence in a competitive AL East. The Red Sox benefit from one of the league's top farm systems, featuring high-ceiling prospects like Roman Anthony (in prior rankings) and recent pitching infusions, supporting a solid big-league group for ongoing contention. Finally, the Pirates are emerging from a long rebuild with generational ace Paul Skenes leading a promising young pitching staff, the No. 1 overall prospect in Konnor Griffin, breakout potential, and projections for their first winning record and playoff push since 2015, signaling a bright multi-year trajectory for all six franchises.
Team 3 who wonât be named is doing amazing w their âdeepest rotation in baseballâ đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł

How didnât you mention the Mariners? LMAOOOO
1:15 Team 1
4:10 Team 2
I believe if the pirates are healthy (AlSO ,ownership and management doesnât move on what they have in place right now ) and they can give their pitchers run support⊠they might make a run this yearđ
6:04 Team 3
9:15 Team 4
Isn't the brightness of the Red Sox's future at least significantly attributable to their proven historical trackrecord of fooling PED tests?
10:49 Team 5
14:17 Team 6 (I can't believe this team is on this list)
Literally LOL'd at the Red Sox. "Roman Anthony....... but its more than just Roman Anthony. If.....If.......If......" Good video otherwise lmao

Mets and Tigers could make the list đŻ
@briandavid1925Shame the Mariners arenât here. You just probably forgot. They have a top 5 rotation and a top 3 AL lineup. They have the 2nd best farm system and theyâre not currently up to their eyeballs in contracts.
@N8R_Quizzie3 AL East teams, not one named the Yankees....lmao. This cant be an honest take
@RashadMGreeneWonder if the tigers wouldâve made this list if it was put out after the Framber signing
@tfloyd6419WE (the braves) are not in a good situation
@ejprice1817Great video! The only team you missed was the mets
@ColeCooksTheBooks7:39 Respect PCAâs center field abilityâs
@andehruwYou miss the atletics. For me their future is top 3.
Their batting lineup is kinda insane and the contract is locked in long term.
I'm biased but I think the Mariners should definitely be on this list. Already one of the favorites to win the AL going into the season with alot of their core either under contract for awhile or still in arbitration (Cal, Julio, Naylor, Woo, Gilbert, Kirby, Miller, etc) and have some of the most high end prospects in baseball that will slowly start making their way onto the team over the next year or two to replace the guys like Arozarena or Castillo who will be leaving.
@ben-lueckTigers
@ShartStainMcGeeI believe you hate my team and therefore me and I've taken it personally
@LushPleaLMAO. Another AL East homer that knows absolutely squat. Good try kid
@jeffhoman4568Did not mention the tigers or the brewers, two teams who made the NLCS last season with young stars and amazing farm systems, but you did mention the âPiratesâ whose front office is incompetent, and the orioles who are aging out of their young stars of previous and have really not had prospects come up and be anything sincw Gunnar, not to mention their rotation. Really hated that analysis
@DinkDinksterYour AL bias is showing. No Milwaukee?
@ericfonckEveryone gassing the orioles seems to forget they have 3 teams in their division that are probably still better than them
@jackgreco2864Slept on Seattle
@howboutemjackson9128Sonny gray is a mediocre pitcher at best!!
@joevaldez1597Well, that's disputable! I am also a redsox fan, but with the latest has been acquisitions, they kind of took a step backwards!
@joevaldez1597Pirates is a good pick but I think itâs a very fragile one. The owner is, like you said, complete garbage and doesnât care about winning. Itâs honestly up to ownership to want to keep the core thatâs gonna be the 2026 team, bc they do have potential. Wouldnât get hopes up too much.
@kylel.4419Jared jones?
@richardlewis7172Cleveland has a great future. Theyâve got an excellent young pitching staff with guys like Gavin Williams, Bibee, Messick, and Cecconi who are all far from their peak, a couple cornerstone hitters in Kwan, JRam and Manzardo, and some exceptional current/recent top 100 hitters that will be on the team this year or next (DeLauter, Bazzana, Valera, Valasquez, Genao, etc). Their bullpen has a excellent closer for the next 5 yrs in Cade Smith, and they always fill it out well enough to be a top pen. Not to mention gold glove caliber defense all over the diamond year in and year out. I like where the team is headedâŠ
@davidwindellA dark horse team that can squeak into the playoffs, the marlins yes the east got better but so did the marlins as a whole, their depth is plentiful even with the trades they had, their offense will be more mature and again the have depth pieces at all positions ready to contribute, theyâll be a sneaky team to watch
@lexiescalderon5639Sorry, Valdez is in The 313 for at least the next three years!
Our situation just improved by a lot for 2027 and 2028!
No tigers?!?
@AlphaSoapsI do think the pirates are better than they were but we all might be thinking too highly of them just because their past teams were so bad lol
@soadratmetcRed Sox suck⊠I can name 10 teams with a brighter future lol
@bladegill7984Yes, but the four Red Sox pitchers are all lefties... need balance. So cant have four out fuve starters all lefties.
@nicholasfoley7105Orioles are run by terrorists, thatâs the only drawback
@Bmorefan358I promise you Tolle isn't "one of the most dominant pitchers in all of baseball". I like what your doing, but you need to relax with the hyperbole
@PatrickOrdwayYankees suck
@plastic_benReds just signed Hunter to long term contract. They will be good for years to come!
@JacobBailey-k2kPoor list indeed. Should try coming back down to reality.
@danswanger9816As a 57 year old, live long Pirate fan, our owner can TOTALLY SCREW THIS UP!! I was at the All Star game in 2006, with the crazy crowds and Nutting saw that and refused to spend in 2012-13. This town is STARVED for a good Pirate team!!
@jaffs160I donât think Boston Red Sox future is bright at all honestly! After this season your view of them will change for sure!!!!!!! Now the Dodgers future bright
@CaliKidd1001bro just forgot that the Brewers existed.
@dominicwanzer2057I don't think trading Devers was stupid.. honestly
@TheHrondon48Why were the Red Sox wearing green uniforms?
@dancurtis4295I genuinely want to know how the Mariners arenât on this list
@Cantius22Yeah, you're a Sox fan. Clearly.
@veritasinvicta8128It's stupid to make a list for the future with a new CBA on the horizon.
@veritasinvicta8128I think u mean to say high floor, low floor means the worst they can is bad lol
@handsanitizer1963You know whatâs crazy about the dodgers that no one is talking about
If tanner scott bounces back they probably have the best bullpen
Vesia Philips Eduardo (maybe trienenâŠ.) and Will Klein can be very good relievers
Tanner Scott as a setup if he bounces back is absurd
Edwin Diaz is arguable a top 2 closer.
Scary Af bullpen if it clicks
Hey! Love the video! Just wanted to ask a quick question - where did you find the spreadsheet at 3:15? Iâd love to be able to take a look at it! Much love brother!
@logurt1??? No love for what the Athletics are putting together??? đź
