Honestly, this game feels soooo.... bland? Without the czech dub, obviously not everyone can and wants to use non native language, but the czech VA's did areally good work and honestly Joey in czech dub is just one of the best characters I've seen in any game.

I don't know for you guys but randomly seeing a pair of melons while being shot at by 12 different guys with tomy guns and Molotovs was such a great experience. It's the only collectables that I cared to look for in any games
Main Theme - Mafia 2 OST
Mafia 2 (or mafia ii or whatever) is a great gaming experience. Probably one of the best open world experiences since the gta 4 review. Well and the la noire review. Then again every black joshi review I make is my favourite, right before I declare I want nothing to do with it ever again lol.
I recently began to play Mafia 2 after a few years of forgetting about it and somehow I remembered how to get everywhere like empire bay was the back of my hand, I dumped hours into this game in highschool.

@mikewestra3449Its very interesting to me that Mafia 2 shows strong signs of Mafia 1 being an actual driving game with very occasional 3rd person shooting sections while Mafia 3 almost completely does away with it and leans more into being a GTA-like game
@ClockworkRoninthere are a open world mod arround somewhere.. original game is not really a open world, but the mod is great and adds some cut content

@allahsnackbar991511:55 Well MP-40s are seen in the hands of gangsters throughout the game, albeit not as frequently as Thompsons. Kar98K is defacto almost a sniper rifle of the game with slightly more accuracy than M1 Garand and screen also zooms a bit more when aiming with it. On the other hand Beretta 38 is beside the first mission kinda used as a filler gun appearing later in the game in Harry's shop, but I like it more than MP-40 and always use it given it was a pretty solid gun irl.

@jitsikawmoney making is limited? you go into a gun shop actually push the cashier into the corner just close enough to the wall to do an execution combo then rob it and run out before the cops notice you, that is the best money although you do have to drive around to the shops to do it still

@Salamander676The driving is easy, i floored it all the time and once you get the hang of it it is easy. But the driving is different than modern cars because tires sucked back then so it is realistic.
