The music in this film is fantastic. It adds soo much to the storyline. A great movie, a challenged family, and even more challenged child. The boy actor both younger and older did a fantastic job.

I feel like the social worker is trying to treat Andrew’s mother like she is the one who neglected him and they are blaming her for her sons developmental delays. I think they obviously used Andrew as an experiment like a guinea pig. That’s sick. To threaten to take someone’s developmentally delayed child and put him in an institute is sick!

@Rose-xy5peOne of the most heartbreaking movies I have seen, being based on true events its just so upsetting, the boy who played Andrew wow this must have been so mentally exhausting for him incredible actor, the real boy that lived this i truly hope he had a wonderful, blessed life after such shocking trauma. I will never understand how any parent can harm their children in anyway.

e was picking up where he left off developmentally, socially and emotionally a age two. But with extreme trauma, abuse and neglect.
He was speaking, eating with a fork and not slamming his face in food was a huge, huge step forward at that time.
