I'm with Ray, it was looking ropey in the first half but in the second half, Winston, the Gaffer managed to sign and bring on the big Soviets to help on the Eastern flank, and they really did some damage, Alan. By the end the Germans looked like they were at sixes at sevens. Then of course on the other side of the draw, the Americans did us a favour by knocking Japan out of the competition
