Such a bs trainwreck movie

While I do agree that the writing for the sequel Trilogy was an absolute mess, I still enjoy it because it's fun. Do I wish things went the way they did in legends? Yes, but I take what I can get.

This movie was absolutely horrible and Luke’s character was assassinated in The Last Jedi but this scene, is amazing. This is Luke, this is what being a Jedi is about, this song is so Star Wars. It’s a full circle moment after Yoda and Luke’s X-Wing scene in Empire Strikes Back. I wish the sequels had a plan and stayed true to the franchise then people may have hated on it like the prequels but maybe over time it would’ve aged better 🤷‍♂️

I love his little "Nailed It" smile when he lifts the X-Wing.

I was happy to see Jedi Leia and seeing her saber is blue. I wish they made little nods or have Luke say "I sensed who you were when you arrived" to at least make it look like they have a plan. Its sad Carrie Fisher didn't get to see the reception she got. I know they had to redo the entire movie after she passed.

I don't like the sequels. And disney squeezing in, this "girl power" narrative in Star Wars is absolute rubbish.

If Disney wants to redeem itself and make millions in the process, tell them to erase episode 7-9 and redo them.

The old Jedi Master and his tein sister knew Rey was a Sith Lord's granddaughter.
Leia wanted to put Rey a different path then Vader and his Sith Master

The rise of Skywalker was garbage and 4 times worst than The last Jedi, BUT at least, it includes a few little scenes like this one that I really appreciate, of course always with the greatness of John Williams' score.

At least Luke made a comeback from the last movie cause he was disappointing in the Last Jedi

The infamous T-65/B model X-Wing, produced as a direct predecessor to the Disney canon's T-70 X-Wing by Incom. Offered to the Empire, who turned it and its amazing performance down for the TIE/LN (Twin Ion Engine/Line) Fighter due to cost whereupon the entire first production run and a good hunk of Incom personnel defected to the Rebellion. And, apparently, quite waterproof as shown by it still functioning in Episode IX following at least a decade or two underwater.

Luke's smug smirk fits perfectly here - oh, if only Yoda's Force Ghost showed up with a roll of the eyes and a whack on the shin with his gimer stick with an admonishment about not believing until after death.

2:33 I know this flashback scene is about Leia and that’s why her theme plays. But, what a missed opportunity to create a reworked version of Luke and Leia’s Theme(introduced in ROTJ) for their training and dueling.

Probably my favorite scene from this movie. We hear Rey’s Theme, the Force Theme, Leia’s Theme, Luke’s Theme/The Main Theme, and of course the swelling of Yoda’s Theme when Luke finally lifts up the X-Wing. These movies aren’t as good, but I still love and enjoy them.
