Few sights in sports are as captivating as raw, explosive athleticism. Picture Mike Tyson’s rapid-fire combinations, Usain Bolt’s lightning-quick sprints, or Stefan Holm’s gazelle-like leaps. What these athletes share is an extraordinary ability to generate immense force in an instant. In this video, we’ll explore the genetic and trainable factors behind this phenomenon.
Damn good video thank you !

Great video man!
@erikmorales17Hi, in your video is Mike Tyson. He doesn't lift and doesn't use the shock method, but was one of the most powerful heavy weight boxers in the history of boxing. If we agree that strength is specific, why can't we agree with speed - strength or strength - speed can be specific?
@lnedelcu66look at the vintage footage and clear examination!
@qinZhou-b5cVery high quality analysis
@nikanhariri9331Thank you for this quality video
@MatthewG-k8enot even 4 minutes in and wow this is so well put together
@Kongstrong519People watching this: “speed comes naturally”
@TresBienAlantèOMG, I cannot possibly thank you enough for such an amazing work🙏🙏 I wrote down 6 pages of notes - underlining, coloring and putting emojis:) I've been doing boxing, Muay Thai and supplementing them with weightlifting for explosiveness. I had the chance to confirm what I know and have learned several very important points that will transform my trainings to a better level. Thank you for your your effort to share all these with us.

@TapasyaShrivastav-m3pwhere is the training of speed?
@AlejandroLopez-ky5gvSay goodbye to your knees...
@bluesky6449do i have to lift heavy for functional/pure strength or does it just need to be intense if anyone knows because i dont have quite heavy enough weights that are 85 percent of my 1rpm but they are heavy enough to get me quite fatigued and intense after like 7 reps so i dont know if i should actaully get heavier wieghts closer to my 1rpm or just heavy enough to be intense and close to failure
@LewenChen-k1yGreat video
@Fibonacci062Good video. Subbed
@m.d.sharpe889211:48 - Stefan Holm, Swedish High Jumper and Olympic gold medalist and only 181cm.

@AlteredState1123Does tendon stiffness make you less flexible?
@SionsFictionThis video is actually beautiful. The old footage with the curved square aspect emphasises how far back this knowledge was discovered. The narration is clear. The information includes many important topics but is presented concisely. Fantastic video, I wish this was released a few years ago back when I was playing lacrosse in university.
@CrackFoxtrot24Great vid thanks so much 🏋🏼♀️
@RockVearFactors which you ve listed in the beggining of the video are highly hereditary, some of thore hereditary variables are higly geneticly influenced.

@aceey2Fine blend of being informational and a tribute to power sports
@Sator810What do you think about the output dynamics of gymnastics. The national coach for U.S Chris Sommer said some of his athletes had very little experience with any type of serious weightlifting but would walk into the weight room and be exceptionally strong. Great video!!
