Caleb are your input lag measurements accurate? Because some Chinese reviewers are reporting 5ms at 4k 120hz and 11.9ms at 4K 60hz, while your findings are 9ms at 4k 120hz and 17ms at 4K 60hz.

For me, I would buy one in a heartbeat, but Sony missed the boat. They should have released a 98"/100" version around $10K. That is the real sweet spot for large-format TVs.
Sigh... It’s always sompin. F1 races would be awesome at 100"! 🤓
Edit: Plus, every TV remote should now have dedicated brightness UP/DOWN buttons. With these high-NIT TVs blasting people before bed, is it any wonder we can’t sleep?

I doubt that strongly that a LCD (RGB) will make QD -OLED worried. The only thing that RGB have over OLED is brightness, I’m surprise your friend never gave you the reason why they choose LCD over OLED, and most likely it’s due to brightness.
