my top and lower 3rds are my largest features(with my lower 3rd being slightly larger than the top 3rd) and my eyes and round and downturns and when light its them just right they have this really faint fade into like an olive green(brown dominant hazel eyes) so I'm fairly certain wispy fringe that blends into a wolf cut will look good on me. I also have a round face with i think a tiny bit of oval influence, or an oval with round influence. so yeah, hopefully I am not making a mistake.

My features have very proportional weight, but I have a small forehead and a long philtrum, so my face looks like a "short-long" face. The "blank spaces" concept blew my mind because it makes so much sense!! And when I wear bangs above my eyebrows, I automatically get a mean, kind of caricature-ish look (which I like!)

I have seen Lisa from BlackPink. There was this Thailand vacation BlackPinkHouse tv show they did for awhile, Lisa and others went air gliding or something. You can see her original nose shape (post debut and all) is still huge, wide bridge and all. She did not get surgery, still has a giant nose.
So it's clear that it's the contouring makeup she uses, to make it look smaller.
A lot of BP fans know, only in recent years, she has showed a lot of forehead. Otherwise she is very much known for her bangs, hiding huge forehead, etc. Yet it never seemed to draw attention to her huge nosebridge/nose shape. Because it is well contoured.
I don't look like her, but I too have huge forehead, big eyes like her, thicker lashes than her, very similar lip shape/smile, definitely huge nosebridge too.
But I know nothing about contouring. So I think if I can pull off, contouring my nose bridge to look smaller, so well and somewhat quickly (I don't want to spend too much time to get ready everyday lol), then I might go for the bangs.
But I also have issues with overall hair thickness. That's a whole other issue, I need to focus on stress thinning hair out and what not. It was a lot easier as a child, I always had bangs. I was skinny bodied but thick haired, often looked like a mushroom walking around lol.

@Pinkiiiiii9I have a face type more like Julia Roberts and my mother forced me to wear bangs all my childhood saying that it was necessary because I have a long face) I am still traumatized by this. also an important addition - to wear or not to wear bangs, as for me, depends on the structure of the hair. for dark heavy hair it is comfortable and beautiful. and for thin and light hair like mine it was terrible because the bangs flew away from any gust of wind

That exaggerated elongation of the lower part of her face, accentuating the cheekbones and making her eyes thiner and smaller gives her a very cool vibe. I'd actually think that would make gigi hadid very unique and I wouldn't mind watching her like that all the time
@roboboroA god hairdresser who accentuates your features when cutting a fringe is also vey important. A fringe can suite your face but if it is cut by an average hairdresser - it won’t work

I've always struggled with whether or not bangs look good on me or not, and it seemed to depend on the picture and just how cooperative they wanted to be...I've been told that bangs "cramp" my face and not to get them, but when I pull my hair back completely, while not quite average in width and length, it's not super flattering to expose my forehead either...but when I pull my hair back into two small half pony-updos, exposing my forehead is totally fine - I'm wondering if you could go into detail into why this is, like why is there such a drastic change in the face when the hair style is "technically" the same (i.e. no bangs with hair pulled back - just in two ponies instead of one!).

@ellajones8404I've been debating getting bangs. I hate my long forehead plus the frown line and sun spot damage and want them to cover my forehead up. I thought maybe getting similar bangs to dakota johnson. However, I'm kinda scared if i have it done, I'll immediately hate them and regret it.
