Thanks for checking in and watching this latest video, which was filmed last summer in early August. Huw's got quite the setup hasn't he! Everything in the garden you see was sown, grown, harvested and weighed for his latest book, The Self-Sufficiency Garden, co-authored with chef Sam Cooper. I reckon it's a jolly good read. You can find out more about the book or order yourself a signed copy here: https://www.regenerative.press/book-store Cheers for watching! ππ±π

Huw, first of all thanks for the inspiration! Do you have the designs for those small raised tunnel beds you've made?
I have an area in my garden thats a little worse for sun than the rest and i wonder if these beds would help increase the yield of more shade tolerant crops
Cheers π

Trying your hand at self sufficiency? Learn from a pro! Beetroot leaves were the only greens I ate as a child. Boiled, drained, salt and pepper, olive oil and a squeeze of lemon
@teresahall8762More than likely, that design for those polytunnels you saw inspired by James Prigioni, HE got from Patrick of One Yard Revolution... thanks for showcasing Huw on your channel!

@nicoletaylor5547You're an inspiration Ben and I love everyone of your videos.
@warrenburrowsThank you so much Ben, and Huw, for this absolutely inspiring video! I'm writing from sunny Trinidad where I have a list of about 25 vegetables that i hope to grow in my backyard garden. People always say that's over-ambitious, but you're right...choosing productive varieties and having food preservation skills are the keys to success. So happy to see 2 of my favorite growers in one video. Thanks guys! π
@l.thernandez6748I'd be super interested in seeing how seeds or clippings or how the plants are replicated in order to replant. I couldn't imagine going to the nursery to purchase all these plants every season. Super cool stuff.
