It's obvious, looking at comments on social media, that some golf fans view women commentators as less engaging than male commentators. This is understandable; these commentators have great insight, having played professional men's golf at the highest level. I think this is a reasonable argument. Women should be encouraged to focus on commentating on women's sports and let men commentate on men's sports.

It should have happened to a direct witness after the shot was made on the 5th hole. Not on the 18th hole via cameras!

I called Bryson's penalty before the refs. I saw it live, and on videos. You can see he tramples the grass behind the ball as he walks behind it, that is an automatic penalty, end of story. People who believe it's not a penalty and just the R&A going after LIV players are obviously non golfers and don't know the rules. In a hazard, you cannot touch ANYTHING around the ball unless it is a loose impediment.

How hypocritical the British are! Look at the cheating favoritism toward McIntyre at the Scottish Open, and now this targeted penalty against foreign player DeChambeau—sheer blatant double standards.😂

Saw a footage of Bryson before he stepped on the grass.
He stood over his ball, took half a swing, realized that his club was going to interact with the grass, steps behind his ball WITHOUT stepping on the grass that his club would make contact with. On his was way, purposely steps on the grass. Now to me if the grass was really in your way or you did it accidentally, why was the grass not in your way when you stepped behind your ball, it was only in your way when you were going back to address your ball. To me it was on accident, it was intentional, he saw that the grass was going to be in the way of his back swing, and decided he needed to get the grass down.

R&A just ruined the weekend for everyone with the penalty on Bryson. Just let us watch a fair sports game for once without involving yourself for no reason.

I have just watched this video, and then gone and watched the video of the incident. Anyone who is defending those actions or attempting to call the R&A out for imposing the penalty should be embarrassed.

Watch with sound off to avoid Sam T saying "Magnificent" and "Beautiful" 50 times. Just why does anyone use him?
