This clarified a lot for me.

I hope they fix flutter web soon, it is usable but not ideal, on other platforms i faced not many issues, maybe some slight performance issues on ios but that's probably on because of my code not the framework.

I spend more time debugging in React Native than developing.

I found Dart pretty easy to learn. There were a few novel things, but as a curly girly, it was pretty similar to other languages. Like Java, but modern, and syntactically optimised for UI dev.

it felt I spent my life studying Dart and not for a single second saw Javascript
DART FLUTTER IS SO MUCH BETTER AND ITS SO MUCH SATISFYING
JAVASCRIPT IS SO WEIRD MAN

You forgot to mention to be a very good react native developer, you almost need to understand the inner working and code of the react framework else good luck with resolving bugs

For me it didn't take too long to learn Flutter. I am learning Flutter for about 3 months and I have already made project with like 2k lines, so i think Flutter isnt that bad.

Watching this in 2025, need to choose between Flutter or React native..

@mrugendrashilvant8358

In my opinion, react native has a lot of issues. look at it like this. to become a really good react native developer, you’re looking at: react native cli….expo….so many third party library integration…. Learning typescript on top of JavaScript for typesafety if you’ll be building enterprise level apps. Don’t get me started on how unstable it is, once there’s an sdk upgrade, you’re going to have to upgrade your entire app and most likely change stuff, I think I’m done with react native.

Meanwhile flutter is just….dart. Tell me if I’m wrong

@Coco-ii2pu
@

One problem is that react is faster at cold starting than flutter

@discriptrivemenu1468

I still hate both of the framewroks... Just waiting for someone to come up with something better than those pieces of shit.

@icavalheiro

I am developing in React native for a project at work. The development process is hell compared to what i was used in Flutter

@drimiteros_21
@

And then after all the learning you need to go native because of some limitations…?
