"Dumb decision" just hits different and goes better with the song imo. Cause it's like it's their loss they made that call but also puts the dumped person into this stage of denial and ego which is very normal for those of us who struggle with substance abuse. Delusions of grandeur and stoicism.

It's kind of interesting to me. She wrote that song, but she doesn't seem comfortable or is able to articulate what it means to her. Yet, the song is so powerful and packed with feelings. At least I feel it a lot when I listen to it. It's like she didn't write it in English—she wrote it with her emotions and heart. It just so happens to be sung in a language one can speak.
