Predator (1987) Behind The Scenes | Making of The film

Modern filmmaking has destroyed this creature, who went from being an organic hunter (using technology to aid its hunt), to cgi monster with an “inspector gadget” arsenal ready at anytime.

As a kid I use to watch it in the 1990s and it blew me away. Hell I was scared to go to school because there was a bit of a forest to go through. Amazing movie.

The best movie

Originally, Van Damme was hired for the role of the Predator, but thinking that the bright red suit was what the alien looked like, he withdrew from the movie. As far as I know, he didn't quit right away, and he's still partially in the movie.

AMAZING MOVIE ... AMAZING THRILLER , I was 10 years old when my uncle took me to see it at a second-rate cinema at the time. I was eager to see Arnold's muscles and I was surprised by the strength of this beast; I was actually scared... Yes, a fantastic film with a masterpiece of soundtrack. I could watch this film over and over again without getting bored. All the actors are outstanding. Kudos to the creators of this great film. 💪💪💪

Das hat sich die bekloppte EU unter der Leitung der selbsternannten Königin von Europa redlich verdient. Die Moralmeister, unter anderem auch wegen der Witzfigur Baerbock, haben in der ganzen Welt verschissen. Mit absoluten Recht. Deutschland wird im Falle des selbstverschuldeten Ärger mit Russland niemand zu Hilfe kommen. Die Piraterie in der Ostsee, die auch von D unterstützt wird, sowie die gesamte aggressive Kriegstreiberei, wird irgendwann die letzte rote Linie überschreiten. Und dann wird die 2.Garde der Moskauer Feuerwehr D überrennen. Kann mir die Schlagzeilen und das Gejammer jetzt schon vorstellen.

Still looking like a recent movie.

My friend got to work on Predator while we were still in high school. He worked behind the scenes as one of the sculptors at Stan Winston's shop in Northridge. Unfortunately, our high school would not allow him the time off for the several weeks he would need to go on set in Mexico. Instead, he landed an after-school job working on Beetlejuice. He got to work on two epic films BEFORE we graduated in 1987.

Hollywood had real balls and real production guys in the 80s and 90s! Today it's Barbies who have platforms with calculators and CGI in India!!!

And now everything is CG. Nothing beats the real costume.

This is what that italiano didn't understand until later Arnold Schwarzenegger was willing to do more than he was as well as the people he worked with and that's just the way it goes sometimes you have to admit you're working with the wrong people and until you figure that out you're not gonna be where you need and want to be.

One of the greatest films ever made. Hollywood doesn't seem capable anymore if this type of work. I still watch this movie probably once a year. Outstanding
