Positioning With Ana is Easier Than You Think
Video Overview & Insights
Have trouble knowing where to position under the pressure of the game? This video will walk you through how to quickly determine a good position every single time.
splatoon story mode ost! anyways ty for this vid, i just recently picked up ana while already being new to overwatch, and I struggle a lot with actually healing enough while also trying to be useful to the team w my abilities. positioning is a big part of it since the other supports i play tend to stick around the tank/dps and its a pretty difficult switch to get used to. this was super informative and im definitely gonna be coming back here to learn!

This was honestly one of the best guides i've ever seen. It was very thorough and full of useful examples. So educational and easy to translate to my own games. And that einch. game - it taught me how to review my own replays as well. Honestly loved the content, keep it up!

Thanks for watching :)
How do u deal with Tracer, Genji, or Winston diving on you when you're so far in the back alone? Surely a sleep can't help you enough???
More User Perspectives
this is soo interesting. first time picking up ana, i straight up play in the front with my team. although it isnt too bad being aggressive. this play opens up new ideas for me.
@wintertajima4875do you have 7 kids?
@deniztasbas5247if you're within 20m of the point/payload/robot/whatever tfff, as Ana. SWAP. PLEASE
@Samantha-jd6hvmeanwhile in bronze, always a flanker behind u appears and u had to solo fight with it. cause as in bronze no one f about the team support behind xD
@erdemsekerpareive been playing a lot of overwatch in the past year, and of course im playing a lot of ana! ive kept these tips in the back of my mind whenever i play and i just reached diamond FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER this season! thank you for the guide ^_^, its helped so much!!!!!
@bungobingusgreat vid very helpful!
@ch0mp4great video, i havent played overwatch in YEARS, or any competitive fps games for that matter, i used to be an ana main and because of a friend, i got back into overwatch and needed a refresher as i got a job and cant simply play 10 hours straight like i used to, and i loved ana, she was how i fell in love with this game when she first came out
@dribanlycani love all the nintendo bgm music you used really chill video :)
@Private-x1oHere I am after 2 years of not playing, trying to get back to my ana mindset ... Sylsii we need ur wisdom :3
@h0verlordWhat support hero would u recommend an Ana one trick to learn to cover all the bases
@B1GM3ATYCLAWSif you ever post to yt again im here for it
@EvoluteCreatorI really like that you keep in your mistakes and explain them. Even really good players are gonna mess up sometimes! We learn through error :)
@sleeplessreaderomg i love u for this!!! i have been struggling sooo much with positioning in general, this vid is so helpful TY
@pinklo69This is super helpful! i've been playing Ana for years and mostly been learning learning team dynamics and positioning through trial and error as i play, but this video helped me visualise where i need to be and what i need to think about in game as the situation changes. Seeing you play and run through where you made both good plays and mistakes and explaining them was really insightful too. Thanks for the guide!
@corporalcreeperFinally a GOOD ana positioning guide
@k-yan5134W video
@Bobaloe26i subbed, but now i eagerly await brig position tutorial
@39bokiiMe when people say ana is a boring character:
But nah incredible advice, and great to see another person who likes both overwatch and splatoon. Those are kinda mutually exclusive from what ive seen.
As a new player who just got into Overwatch 2, this is a really helpful guide. I am in love with the Ana support hero, and I wanted to work more on my positioning and general game sense with her. Thank you
@MussaGNBGonna send this to my duo😂
@MAX_DJMI'm so dissapointed you don't have more guides! This one was awesome!!!!
@imaybebadproductions8851nice guide! by the way, your voice gives you away
@flibbertigibbet-at-armsGreat! I was scared i do that wrong!
Thanks for this i'll try to perfect it.
great video.
@DomskiPlaysAfter ages of not playing comp, and trying my hand at all three roles, I decided I'd try to rank up Support. I'm good with most of the roster, the ones I've played the least being Zen, Ana, Illari, and Kiriko. This really helps, as I've been scared to try ana tbh LOL.
@redoofstroI actually play ana like a hip shooter instead of using the scope and i also push with my tank and biotic him or the enemy tank if i can this makes using the sleep dart also more reliable because the enemy is closer
@quentingames6038Please do general positioning videos for all maps and all length of map on hibrid/payload/push maps :)
@stuartdavidson162Good video
@EliseuFilho123Wait...
@EliseuFilho123Nice video! What’s your settings for the crosshairs? Looks very nice!
@ExperimentalDivaFM10000fr it is working ,after while of think of save positions as a mercy player i become really good at it i would win with zero deaths and enemy team can't kill me no matter how they tried , huge tip ty for this vid <3
@هايدي-ط8لCan u make a vid on ur ana settings? :)
@VwqiesSo good. Thank you
@eshchampion2:15 so rude to the echo 😢
@JohnHughesTRyou cap your frames at 60?
@dabendadeb555unironically, mercy parkour is super helpful for learning maps just cause you get to do something to solidify that knowledge as well as find spots you might have missed. i only found out while doing that how to even get to the upper highground on the last checkpoint at circuit royale through that!
@cannacaePlease come back to content creation. Your videos are nicely edited and your voice is beautiful! Me and many others will be here waiting for you <3
@alvilyI have to say I really enjoyed watching this guide. It wasn’t super long and it was very simple to understand plus you had a really funny SpongeBob reference which made sense too. At the end you mentioned to focus on the improvement rather than the silly little rank icon It’s very factual overall I learned thanks to you.
@ChosenByNaturalSelectionI’m a practicing Ana main and one thing I struggle with is flanking DPS. Like Reaper is a prime example, when an enemy has gone past my team to me and the other support, or sometimes just me, I panic and miss all my shots on them and end up dying cause I’m at a complete loss of what to do against them, especially if my team is unaware of their flanking DPS or Moria.
@ryrysunter7714Excellent Video. I learned something even though I've been playing Ana for hundreds of hours.
@DAcartonthis video’s helped me immensely in my games as ana in the past few weeks fwiw. i like that you define good positioning in a way that’s clear-cut but flexible, and i also like your mindset of thinking creatively AND pointing out times in your own gameplay where you were or weren’t able to do that.
@moss__pigletvevoWhat a nice guide. =)
