You are pronouncing it correctly IMO but it is in fact an acronym. In manufactiuring there are also ISO standards (just like the ISO in cameras) from the International Standards Organization and lots of folks pronounce it like you do.

For me personally as someone who is just entering the hobby. I still found this video ever so slightly confusing but not in a bad way.
Even though you have simplified it into bit sized chunks to make sections easier to digest. It confuses me enough to make me curious and go out and experiment/play around with these settings and get more hands on with learning.

@tonni8253thank you for these tips as i am a beginner photographer, one thing i would note to other beginners is the meter function on our cameras. im not sure every camera has it but something that held me back by following these things without knowing (until a fellow photographer pointed out) is to check my meter to make sure it is close to 0 or -.3 ish. that tip really helped me not having to wonder why my photos were still coming out a bit noisy. Again, im a beginner so please take this with kindness. however it was that final tip that sent me on my way to feeling confident that i would get a crisp shot. NOW... to learn compisition.... which means i should get off of youtube and get out AND SHOOT! thanks:)
@gregmueller24Question, as long as your lighting is fine. How much bad photography can be fixed in post? I understand you cant fix exposure or shutter speed E.G a blurry image that is way over or under exposed, but when it comes to aperture, composition (Assuming you have enough negative space around the subject to work with and the right resolution)
