Hi Janek, just visited Prague! What an amazing city Thanks for all your recomendations! It made the trip a 100 times beter 🤩An update about the Kolacherie: It's temporarily closed due to reconsrtruction and they moved their business 150 meter up the street around the corner in a book store (Hybernská street number 4). Next to it you can enter a kind of courtyard (!) where you can sit, drink your coffee and enjoy the super delicious Kolache! Btw: 420 Cafe: we wanted to vist the garden for a meal but they forced us to sit on the terrace on the sqaure and did not let us enter the place. Did not quite know what that was about!! Perhaps they only want locals there 😂

Really appreciate this information. We are going to Prague for the first time in July and I'm a bit worried about how crowded it will be with so many tourists. We only have 3 days so this information is invaluable to make the most of our short visit and avoid the tourist traps

WOW!!! This is the best travel video we’ve ever seen on YT - and we’ve watched a lot of videos, many of which were useless, as they simply showed people eating or them at the usual tourist spots. We are eager to look through your playlist and get more “honest” travel information in advance of our trip to Prague in the fall of 2026. Many thanks from two ‘slower’ travellers from Vancouver, Canada.

Great video, i will be in Prague for the first time this Christmas for 3 days. I have noted your tips on places to go for coffee and beer and food. I will certainly avoid city minimarkets for water or snacks. Brilliant and thanks for sharing.

Prague has German language?

It's actually sad to see a lot of recommendations boil down to "beer".
Beer is basic. Identical tasting piss water both for its taste and that it makes you piss.
It probably isn't great to downplay all the wonderful places the CR has and stop at "beer" constantly.
I mean across many videos, not just in this one.
If I'm spending hundreds to travel to a new place, with new people, and a new culture, it certainly won't be for the shit water that's the same as anywhere else , I can tell you that lol.

Just back from Prague very grateful for your golden tips about places, food, and sightseeing. We loved the gelato at Creme de la Creme!! We went to Legenda restaurant twice. Both the food and the service were excellent. We had very similar pleasant experience at Grant Cafe Orient. As for sightseeing, we very much liked the Main Post Office, the free exhibition on currency at Ceska NarodniBank, and the Paseo Moldova via the Skautsky Institut V Rybarne to watch a sunset. MILLION THANKS!!!

Just back from Prague and wanted to say how helpful all your videos have been 😊 We had kolache- from Kolacherie - delicious 😋 We had lunch at Cafe & Hrnky which was also excellent. The over tourism didn't bother us at all because we were prepared for it and just ignored all the silly souvenir shops etc. We loved Prague and had 4 fantastic days visiting all the sights.
