How Drones Work...An Examination of Drone and RC Aircraft Systems
Video Overview & Insights
In this video, I discuss all the key elements that make a drone work, from the Ground Control System, through the Flight Controller and IMU, to the ESCs and Motors. I also discuss unique elements of RC aircraft such as servos. I round it off with a discussion of inspection and maintenance recommendations.
Excellent presentation! Congratulations and many thanks!

In Canada is their an institute where I can study about Drones/UAVs , experiment with them for an 1-2 years. Actually, I am dumb enough to learn all these things myself and could learn through a proper system? Kindly guide me?

@OmikronPsyHi Don,
I am searching for some easy-to-understand video to conduct a simple Introduction to Drones (complimentary) course for senior citizens. Yours is appropriate with animation and esay illustration. May I seek your permission to use some of your content on this video?

Thank you!

@chubiezeilo8858Making a drone sim and need this knowledge, thanks!
@dumgum8244Love it Sir.. Thanks alot for the knowledges
@toolsunboxing3687What excellent instructional videos you produce! Thank you! You have such a calm, clear and pleasant way of communication (side note on one tiny inconsequential thing I noticed that I have heard in a couple of your videos on drone communication... "Fresnel" is pronounced without the s, so "Fruh nel" is the typical pronunciation) ... thank you so much for your videos!
@jmochytAwesome video, learned most of this at my first RPIC/ Ground Control Station Operation job. but was amazing to refresh before walking into my interview tomorrow. well done sir thanks for the refresher!
@MostGoatedFNThank you very much for such clear informative lessons.
@alankempton1067Currently preparing for the advanced license. Wanted to say thanks for putting this information together and helping us 'non-technical' folk understand the thingamajigs and doodads.
@corvineskytographyThank you. Could you please elaborate on tiltrotor drones and how they transition from vertical to horizontal flight.
@shabeel7467Those drones are amazing. Especially when you consider what you are getting for your money. A decent point and shoot camera costs close to or sometimes more than a decent drone. Add a gimbal and you might as well just hand hold your drone to make videos. The technology has come a long way.
@the1andonlyHey Don! On my advanced drone exam there was a question regarding the satellite constellations that I can't find the answer to. Would the correct systems used here in Canada be GPS, GNSS and Galileo?
@avalonaudiovisualThank you so much I think your videos I my best subscription so far!
@jeangiachino4497Really informative. Thanks
