The sort moment where he spoke about climate change ... This was brilliant. No euphemism, no political blahblah, just pure realism. It is shocking that the the interviewer does not react and listen to what he says. She is trying to simply ignore what he said. And thereby she is prove of everything he said. People do not want to see that truth. This ignorance is the reason we got here.

I really like the moment when he talked about the audience. He has the courage to say a truth about it. I really think everything that art nowadays can achieve must start with the assumption he made. And in many cases that means: do the art and know that you dont have the audience.

Really difficult to listen to this guy speak. I think he can sum up a lot of what he's trying to say with a whole lot less. Quite redundant and unclear throughout.

He's so viscerally honest that he comes across at various times as rude, crass, bigoted, and perverse. You can feel the audience's discomfort from all of the comedic beats in his speech that elicit complete silence. Despite their discomfort, he has no compunction at all about airing the dirty laundry that nobody wants to deal with. Perfect illustration of the screenwriting ethos he's espousing. What a guy.

This mindset is felt and seen in modern film today. And it needs to stop because you're focusing on checking boxes for woke agendas. That should not be the focus. You have someone who is exceptional and wants to work for you, but you're going to turn that person down because he's a white man that doesn't intrest you? That's just plain insanity.
