Yea, Iâd give it a 9. Itâs probably top 2 best survival game Iâve played, just behind Grounded. But the constant disconnects on co-op and the kind of bland missions bring it down for me. I like grounded more for the story and combat.
Palworld cleverly blends an amusing creature collecting adventure with a traditional survival game to create something thatâs bizarre, disturbing, and incredibly bingeable. Forcing Pals to work in your growing empire of industrialization as you conquer a hostile world in search of greater power is one of those endlessly satisfying loops you can lose some serious time to, especially when accompanied by friends. The story isnât worth following, some regions can feel pretty barren, and the base-building mechanics could have used more time in Early Accessâ but those shortcomings are little more than a footnote when measured against the consistently enjoyable adventure around them. Palworld had me meticulously hunting every Pal in my Palpedia, excitedly grinding for better gear to take on the next challenging region or boss, and self-reflecting on whether or not I was a bad person as I turned innocent animals into beasts of burden, adding them to my army of unpaid interns. The answer is probably yes, but that doesnât mean I want to stop any time soon.

Just a reminder, Pokémon Sword and Shield got a 9.3. While that game did come out around 6 years ago, can you really say that that game even comes close to this game?

@mugenred238 is where I'd put it... yes it's addicting but from a gameplay and design perspective it's not that good. AI is really really bad, pathing is really bad, crafting is a chore and balancing is really poor.

@Notrevia8/10 is a pretty good score when you take the jank into consideration. It's def one of the best survival games out there
@JordanU3758 but a scary addicting 8, it has obvious weak points but it's gameplay loop is tight and it solves major problems with the survival genre in a very inelegant but effective way.

@Coolcodedudewelp, started watching the review and went to download it but when he said you really shouldn't play it solo, I uninstalled. I don't have friends to play with.

@iluvatarchemNintendo and Pokémon have been stringing along it's fans for decades with lackluster games. Oh it's Pokémon everyone will keep buying our garbage. This is the game they should've been made. I'm glad someone has come along and done the work.

@J0dz07-t2ddecent review but some things are just wrong. you can align things in build mode, you can snap to walls, or snap to other machines instead. as for "guild items are not useful in soloplay", guild chest is shared between based, and I always use it store the common items so I can access them from any base while crafting

Anytime this guy does a review add a number or 2 up. His review on Crimson Desert is the worst Iâve ever heard. With patches the game is one of the best Iâve ever played. Honestly, anytime itâs him I donât take it seriously.

@Boss_Fight_Index_ChannelVideo was great until the other guy stormed in to ruin it at the end. The lawsuits never had anything to do with the appearance of the creatures. Pokémon and Nintendo only ever came after them for gameplay mechanics, most of which they were trying to retroactively get patents for. The precedent that Nintendo attempted to set in this court case had the potential to be extremely detrimental to the industry and thankfully they are losing. Yet here you are completely misrepresenting the situation to the public and perpetuating misinformation.
