Funny that the comments here had the opposite effect on me, making me overthink again. Everyone talking about their siblings. God I hate how siblings are such a common, normal thing that they’re casually mentioned like nothing. Because I never had that experience. I have an estranged bio older sibling and the only “sibling” if you can even call it that that’s nice to me isn’t related to me. I don’t mean like a friend that you think of like a sibling, I mean someone who’d say to others I’m his sister as if we were blood related and calls my parents mom and dad. But nobody else thinks that. Everyone considers him my friend that I call brother. Not a real brother. Never that. Something so simple as siblings can cause me such distress…

My mom passed away almost a year ago. When I was a kid my mom would always yell at me to get off the game and go to sleep or to come eat dinner. My younger self thought it was annoying and wanted to play more because I thought it was my escape from everything else in my life. But my mom was just making sure I was eating enough and getting enough sleep. There are many things I look back to in my 21 years of life, and they all make me miss my mom.

@r6_cookie7Reading these comments, listening to this music, it's made me realise just how fast time flies by, I still remember all those worlds I had with friends I no longer talk to, all those afternoons playing with my dad before I got older, before depression got the most of me and my dad, after dealing with depression and sh for over 8 years, I finally left that hole this last year, now I'm the happiest I've ever been, I love my life, and I just wanna say to whoever reads this that no matter what you're going through, you can get out of it, find peace and happiness, I'm still young but nostalgia has a strong effect on me, I always cry listening to this music remembering past times.
I'm proud of everyone here those who survived and those who didn't
