That was some 1st period.

What a thriller! Vegas was really worth. Their second goal cancelling was really arguable, as well as CAR's fourth goal confirmation.

Toronto was the problem

These refs really don’t want Vegas to win

I feel Carolina had this game, twice their own player scored on their own goalie. They need to play harder like they did during the playoff run. I’m seeing them play like who cares if they win, let’s get them next game. Then suddenly it’s tied, and again the OT winner goes off a player that seems like his head isn’t in it. You can’t be playing like that with Vegas, they’re too talented, the minute you slack, they end up one stride ahead, then your back checking. It’s like I’m seeing a Canucks team with fluke goals and the team suddenly thinks they’re untouchable.

Watching a team from Las Vegas play a team from Carolina for the Stanley Cup is not only saddening, it's actually making me feel less attached to this league, not the sport itself, as, inspite of myself, I will always love this game. However, it truly seems like, these days, there is no place for Canadian hockey fans in the NHL. Unless they are willing to cheer for a team thats from another country. And you can cite the number of Canadian players there are playing for both teams until you're blue in the face, it doesn't change the fact that those players have become, will become, or are already, members of teams that, for the foreseeable future, and the memorable past, eliminate the very teams they grew up cheering, supporting, bleeding, living and dying for and with, as they grew up. And now, are breaking the hearts of Canadian kids by eliminating the teams that our youth love today. And I'm not throwing shade at the players, the problem isn't them. It's the league itself; and as good as all of this is for the league, it is, for me, personally, only made me feel like watching the NHL is no longer a Canadian pass-time; and so, since there is no use in fighting an unstoppable force, I suppose I'll just continue to allow the league I invested my heart and soul into as I grew up, unceremoniously pass me over without so much as even a feigned sign of appreciation that I once mowed lawns, and did other odd jobs to make money I saved up to spend on NHL merch, or tickets, or w/e else. And I suppose, in the end, that's what's best for all involved. Live and let die.

Toronto made such a great call getting rid of the guy who was completely at fault for them failing in the playoffs just like Toronto will always do. If matthews has a single brain cell he will run from that joke of an organization as fast as he can.... At least if he ever wants to be successful

wow what a game it was! I missed the game yesterday, didn't check the score in purpose and just came here to watch highlights... and I was like okay it was easy win for Vegas when they were leading 4:0 😄😄😄

Theodore with the lucky overtime goal to make up for his penalty resulting in the tying goal.....and salvaged a great statistical game by Marner which would have been for nothing with a Hurricane victory. TWO INCHES higher on the penalty shot would have been 4 goals and if the winner hadn't deflected in off the goalie's skate then he was there to possibly put it into the open net for the winner himself. The MITCHelin Man!!!!

Vegas winning it MN Wild style. I liked them to win the Cup this season, but losing a 4 goal lead that fast, makes me think they're just not hungry enough.

Чё сказать, я ещё с утра (в России) смотрел этот хайталайт. Спешил, очень спешил, надо бля было ехать по неотложным делам.
А ща смотрю еще раз. Я не то, чтобы топлю за Каролину или против Вегаса. Но Марнер, он, сцуко канадец, нашел себя в этом сборном со всего мира говнище под названием VGK. Всё шло к разгрому, однако опять решили детали типа замены сакрального для Роба кипера.
Дальше я в ахуе, я не знаю, как выговорить свои эмоции, но 0-4 в финале КС - это пиздец, это приговор.
Хрен его знает, какие слова нашел Роб, чтобы заставить своих парней сделать этот гребаный камбэк.
Этот матч, даже проигранный, уже решил исход серии.
Всё, что будет происходить дальше, будет находиться под контролем чувака, который заслужил своё место на золотом пьедестале.
