Well, after over 8 years of doing monthly episodes of my Top Android Apps series, it's time to hit pause. But as a sort of series finale, I thought I would create one final video showcasing my absolute 20 favourite apps of all time. Enjoy!

Idk if I'm not seeing it but Palette feels like it's missing a glaringly obvious feature which is to filter setups by launcher. I don't use Niagara, I don't wanna see recommendations for setups that need it

I dont quiet see the point of app 17. I just use routines to change wallpapers depending on what time it is

Used Nova for so long after Next went away but Lynx is my new favourite for its pure simplicity and having the dev active on discord.
I also love a couple of concepts,
Side dock
Separate descktop and homescreen: there is a single home screen with swipe left for favourites, right for apps, up for search. Swipe down gives you your multi screen desktop.

Probably a good time to look at adding new content. Nova Launcher is abandonware now. Also, several issues now on Android 15 that probably will never see a patch for. But all is not lost... I switched to Smart Launcher 6. Although I think maybe it is just called Smart Launcher now. I tried so many launchers looking for a replacement. I come from the Go Launcher vs ADW Laucher vs Apex Launcher time period of rooted devices so there has been many home screen experiences. Lol.

for the combination of notes, task manager, and calendar, I do not know of a better solution than Amplenote. The mobile app is lightning fast, fantastic for when you need to quickly capture thoughts on the go. Highly recommended.
