I've noticed that living over there, I didn't know that much about all these neighborhoods when I lived there? I did know Coral Gables, Coconut Grove & I used to shop at The Falls so much!! Looks like this area, is like right in between there? 😳

I can see why London remains in the top 5 voted walkable cities by visitors. Plus it has 1500yrs of historic buildings. Free museums, and the Thames river boats to travel. All said, each to his own> and they are completely differs places but I can't get over the insane sky scrappers or high risers as you say, what madness. I love, love, love living on the residential (west) side of South Beach, but I'd be lying if didn't say that i wish we had a rail connection to MIA and downtown. That said, I amy staying put on the beach for its sheer variety of walkable locations including IMO the best collection of walkable grocers, a standard multiplex theater (non luxury), eateries from cheap fast food to super high-end, shopping with the same variety as dining, the robust bike infrastructure, sidewalks aplenty, and parks, all while having the tourist infrastructure to make make me feekl like I'm on vacation whenever I want it. While I have a car, I was looking at my odometer the other day and realized that I had only driven it 420 miles from early November through the end of April.
