The first game… 11 points in a row for Pisnik and Sewing…. Mostly from speed ups right at the body. Not to call out just (mostly Weil) and Frantaova, but most speed ups were either a surprise it seemed, or they didn’t know how to handle them when they came their way. I think they’re not alone in this. Most women seem to handle body speed ups poorly. It’s a skill to drill like anything. Bright and Waters handle speed ups very well and I think it’s because at the higher levels you have to be able to handle the majority of those as any other shot.
