Going through a separation right now was in a relationship for 18 years with four kids. My girlfriend decided she wanted to live and not just survive…. Seven months after she decided to separate, I lost my mom. The only two women that I ever trusted or even tried to Luv or felt that ever felt loved me are no longer here. One chose to leave and the other was chosen to leave. It’s been hard these last eight months trying to process everything. I’ve heard this song numerous times over the years always thought it was a beautiful song. But now listening to it thoroughly in this season that I’m going through. it just somewhat brings joy and pain and a little bit of clarity why my ex-girlfriend chose to leave and why my mother was chosen to leave. I don’t know where my life goes from here and I love my kids dearly, but I’m not sure exactly what can feel that void. I’m missing these two people. Everdays has its challenges to try to let go of the past when it comes to my relationship, but also try to hold onto the past when it comes to my mother. It’s to the point I can’t tell what’s up-and-down and what was yesterday and what was two weeks ago… but I know for my kids I can’t just give up. I never have and I can’t now not while they’re watching me….

I’m attached and he won’t commit nor find himself fit to commit to me but when we are together life and our bond feel like lighting he showed me his colors like 3-5 Times yet I kept trying but after my final attempt I have given up in my heart little by little, I can’t keep loving him in the dark, honestly I want to live not survive 😢😒😔

I know most people this song come to people who are struggling with romance love life but this brings me to my grandpa my grandma and my uncle all who have passed recently because of many different struggles with cancer Parkinson brain damage and vehicles and brings me to tears thinking of this song from the difference between the world and heaven that I hope they are having a great time in

It hurts so much that has happened to you and so you have to appreciate this gorgeous song

Recently my besties dad did suicide and i am feeling this lyrics. I wish well for her. They are very much hurt and alone.

This was my favorite song when my dad was still alive but when he died I almost didn't want to listen to it. My favorite song turned into my hated song but after a few years I was able to bear it.I can bear to listen to it.

I can relate although I won't say I don't love them anymore, I may not love them as deeply as I thought but I don't hate them either. But everything is spot on😢
