Korea's Gender War is Finally Out of Control
Video Overview & Insights
South Korea did not arrive at a gender war by accident. A mix of economic pressure, collapsing trust, online grievance, and political incentives turned everyday frustration into a full social fracture. What happened in Korea matters because many of the same pressures are spreading across the rest of Asia.
Thanks so much for watching. This channel is new, and honestly, I'm learning what works as we go. What topics are you actually interested in exploring together? Let me know in the comments!
In this video, you'll discover:
• Why South Korea became the clearest case of gender polarization in Asia
Great video. 24:45 you point to a card that didn't appear. Did you forget to add it @DrJonathanTam
• How jobs, housing, and status competition fed resentment on both sides
• Why online communities intensified conflict instead of releasing pressure
When women cannot trust men to be safe partners, many will choose to stay single. The fact that men create revenge porn, torture women and young girls, and share this content online with other men represents an insane and potentially deadly reality for women. You mostly present the gender war as two equal and reasonable sides simply expressing their perspectives, but I find that framing biased when you address this issue. If women were committing the same acts against men and boys, I would condemn them just as strongly. But they aren't, and that distinction matters. And yes, as long as the problem exist all men are potentially dangerous. Women cannot read minds.
• How political actors learned to weaponize gender grievance
• What Korea's backlash reveals about family, dating, and social trust
I don't quite understand how all those issues led to men blaming women and women blaming men.
The ones responsible are the rich and powerful (per usual).
Women didn't decide men had to spend 2y in military service.
Women didn't decide to have those renting systems.
Most men don't have the power to decide over womens pay or how judges and police handle crime (they profit from it tho).
• Why this crisis is not just about Korea, but a warning for the wider region

While these might be branches on the tree, the issue seems to be capitalism as a structure. There is a gender war, but they're losing the class war. And unaware that they're not fighting the right battle. All that education and missing the point even though it's huge.
0:00 Intro
1:04 Chapter 1 - The Breaking Point
Solution: allow foreign immigration and the social structures will be forced to change with the population becoming mostly foreign. Koreans can marry foreigners to accelerate the decline of their failing system.
2:52 Chapter 2 - The Blame Machine
9:51 Chapter 3 - The Political Fracture
Worldwide, the “sacred” teachings that denigrate women and are enshrined in ignorance from the past needs to be stricken from the status as Sacred. Humanity has this deeply in our DNA, and it is time to remove it from the present dogma and the generations to come. I urge all women to refrain from respecting and and all religions that continue to consider as Sacred, texts that denigrate women.
12:53 Chapter 4 - The Housing Trap
16:02 Chapter 5 - The Motherhood Cliff
this is why gender stereotypes are bad. eventually both genders got pushed into a life they are not content with. and turned into a crisis now.
22:43 Chapter 6 - The Pattern
27:00 Chapter 7 - Conclusion

Opting out is lame and the easy way out, with disastrous long term consequences, including for the person doing it.

At what point in history there was no "motherhood clif" or it wasn't hard for women to leave their home if they divorce? This was never the case, yet people partnered up and had happy families. It's the unrealistic expectations that are the source of the problem...
@yogut28China is NOT an example to emulate. Emergency socialism to add more regulation to limit free speech on the internet and limit political freedom is NOT a good solution. Try stopping the political corruption. Capitalism and democracy are not the problems. They are the solutions. Do what is best for young women. Do what is best for young men. Not the chaebols and political machines.
@bonnclayton4270What everyone misses here is Jesus... so sad to see.
@yogut28I guarantee you "regulating the internet" aka censoring it with government power will only ever make society worse.
@Navak_Women in the workplace was a mistake. It is destroying the entire world.
@herbiehusker1889Korea is on a self-destruction speedrun.
@herbiehusker1889What tf is that rental system ?! And why doesn't it get changed? That's the dumbest system I've ever seen.
@Nightk1uI'm not Korean, but had to watch this till the end.
Sr., you did a terrific socio-economics infographic. Fantastic job depicting a complex reality!
Antichrist reign has already started.
@Zbigniew-x7eOne of the genders can do many things.
Voting sensibly isn't one of them.
Swapping a husband for a male boss, so they can become the man they want. Thanks feminism!
Certain men acknowledge that people have hierarchal ordinal preferences, Women pretend it doesn't exist especially among themselves, aka there is no bias in women.
@SetTheorist9Thank you for the gender neutral approach. This makes me think of wild animals when caged. It was rare to get them to breed. Our societies are likely triggering an animalistic survival mechanism that forces us to consider bigger things than relationships.
Having a family is something that many of us will likely regret not having.
South Koreans making room for North Koreans ?
@RobertMcMellon-wd8bdUnited States has so many culture wars going on right now, we can barely keep up with them all. The media stokes these wars for ratings and money.
@azulsimmons1040It's not just Korea. It's all over the Western world. At some point it's going to break, and it's not going to be good for the women or men, but most likely worse for women since it most likely means a regression to the past.
@SDZ675Yangdari.... everyone is a yangdari in Korea 👍. So modern and cool. 👍👍
@shar-TWPTwentysomethings around the world need to lay down their barriers, find love, marriage, and start having babies. Lots of babies. If this doesn't happen, entire cultures will become extinct in 2 generations. Like dinosaurs looking for a tar pit.
@CajundaddydaveIt's already happening in the west 😭
@UncventuresIm a 47 year old male latino who grew up in NYC. in my opinion life in general back in the 50s was simpler. we were in gold standard, inflation, taxes were not too infringing, one income was enough for a man to afford a car, a house and vacations... then comes feminism, liberalism and the quality of food and products... I think greed, power and governments are responsible. the 50's werent perfect by any means but I think we need a serious reset. a global flood? no. but a united front to restart at a point where we democratically feel was the best time.. but theres no going back. we are doomed
@Emperor_Julius_Cesar23:13 sorry but no, not exactly, Tokyo for example is more affordable then Seul, in Tokyo if you save 20% of median salary you can afford a home in ~60 years in Seul it's 95, I think the small discrepancy can be easily explained with just high medium income earners still being able to afford housing in Tokyo
@goodbye_world___long_gonethere's way less kids around now compared to when i was one and a lot more old people, and the boomers have 30 years left max. there's going to be a whole lot less people around.
@perfectboobs333Your graphs at 0:26 seem made up AI slop, given how weird they are. Can you explain what they are?
@Mystical_ScyFii've watched several of your baby crisis vids and it's pretty apparent you don't like women having autonomy and choices. "women want to marry" is the same wish as "i want a ferrari." most people never get it. you really should check your bias.
@twiggyjalimen's economic instability isn't even comparable to women being treated like commodities. pregnancy and childbirth are detrimental to a woman's health, and raising the kid as essentially a single parent because your husband is at work 24/7 makes it a thankless job.
@twiggyjaliI had no idea things in Korea were this damn bad for men, women and babies! 😫 Ihave heard of South Korea's really low birthrate. Now i know why! There has to be a way to help the South Koreans out of this structual/cultural/gender mess 😪 😥 😰
@TyCruzCastMarried women don't vote progressive that much. Single/divorced miserable women does that.
And women are getting closer to losing their right to vote if this keep going btw
3:50 just do what Israel do and take women to army as well. Dont just singled out men for army. If women wanna vote they also need to taken to army as well
21:50 so they see problem with that but they are okay men spending their time at army? Huh neat
Not even a mention of chaebols and the fact that they're so standardized?? The difference in SK to its neighbors is this monopoly, a childs path is so clear in SK, so narrow, so if something doesn't work it's very easy for the youngster to blame the system. But if you have limitless options of development, of careeer paths... well, then of course there is this instinct of blaming others, but they also know they could have done better, chosen better.... so the cultural tenions are logically smaller. If young people put a significant part of the blame on themselves then things don't excalate to "war"
@Bayard1503So Korea's gender war is basically men going full mysonigist psycos in response to a system designed and enforced BY OTHER MEN?
And also the same system neglecting, on purpose, to protect women?
How the fuck anyone expected Korean females to respond by any other mean than protesting and quitting that shitshow ASAP?
Make databases of the men who opted for the right. This is a very important information about their genetical (lack of) value. This are the most agressive most polygmaous males of the population. We should not let them allow to hide just because their strategy is not working. This men should never have children. And we can make sure that half of them will not.
@Rakscha-SunThis is the future. It is bleak.
I like this presentation, but it really needs to address hypergamy and how most women reject most men. This is a common thread among all the nations discussed and also in the West. It also fails to mention the simple fact that humans are less connected and less social.
Let us extinguish the men from the right. Let us delete them out of evolution. We just need sperm banks where the political identity of the donour is confirmed and controlled. Thats it. So easy :)
@Rakscha-SunFunny how not a single one of them blames government, corporations, landlords, their bosses, etc.
@aleksapetrovic6519And the patriarchy responses to try and reduce women’s rights and I speak globally. Let’s make abortions illegal again, let’s change voting to only one per household a.k.a. only the man can vote. Or let’s just prevent women from voting altogether…. It’s fucked.
@anfr6634If you want to defeat a nation, destroy its women.
@blue-ghost-riderThe rich did this, fuck the 1%
@maxattison5234You mean it's not the big bad white man?
@JohnSmith-gc7dpThis looks like a total collapse of the world if discontinuous
@georger6624Why should men care think about it? What’s going on is crazy if they can’t get a house and not gonna have kids they’re not gonna be able to even try why would they bother?
@georger6624It is form of extremism..
@ramesh-g5m3xKorea is all messed up…..get rid of the chaebols and the sexism!🇺🇸
