I would much rather have no income tax. I can control my spending, so sales tax isn't a big deal. I can't control, unless I cheat on my income tax. The sales tax argument is so simple minded. KY has a 6% sales with a 4% income tax and TN has a 9.25 to 9.75 Sales with NO INCOME tax... yeah this is a no brainer....

Just got back from visiting the smoky mountains! And have been to Kentucky before. but visited Lexington again on the way back. I’m a visibly queer person you could say compared to the people there lol. Long dyed hair, Piercings, tattoos, n whatnot I felt safer in Lexington compared to other parts for sure lol. And of course the the strange looks older folks give happening more than often 🤣 but besides that people were very nice there say just say hi and acknowledge people💕very pretty place

If Kentucky has a liberal governor then I will go to Tennessee .

The deal breaker for me is the interpretation of private property and search and seizure enforcement if you own acreage. In Tennessee, the authorities cannot cross the boundaries of your property without a warrant. In Kentucky, the authorities can cross the boundaries of your property, up to the curtilage or immediate surroundings of your residence, without a warrant. Kentucky still recognizes the 'open field' doctrine of the search and seizure interpretations of the 4th Amendment.

To ANY of you residents of KY District 4.....literally the future of America as we have always known it hangs in the balance of YOUR votes in less than 2 weeks. PLEASE do NOT let Israel so boldly and non apologetically buy your Congressman. PLease get out and vote for Thomas Massie! The whole country of we "America First" people are watching with baited breath to see if you people are going to save America!

before moving to Tennessee know these few things. they tax the fuck out of everything. 13% a dollar. and goes for nothing. the schools are falling apart? there is gun shops right across the street from churches and public schools. I moved to Tennessee to have a easy way of life etc etc like every one else thinks who want to move there. it totally sucks ass. doing meth or cooking is a royalty. its normal and okay? that means you are important and cool maybe? Gary Indiana is a much better place I think. less dumb stuff going on. make me change my mind

It's a hard choice. Maybe live TN , close to the Ky state line and do the shopping in Ky. Save on the sales tax.

If you vote blue no matter who, stay away from both of them.

Have lived in Lexington since March of 2002. Getting tired of the BS, especially the Beshear idiocy. Been to and hate Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis, and Chattanooga. So Tennessee is a negatory Ghostrider. Kentucky is getting old quickly.
@kevinkrichieOne of the best options is to live just inside the Tennessee border but be close enough to a Kentucky Walmart to go buy groceries (no tax). Do NOT work in Ky because of the state income tax. Getting license tags for vehicles each year in Kentucky is higher because the government thieves charge property taxes!!! Car insurance is higher in Kentucky. If you’re an electrician, the tests you have to take to become a master electrician are harder in the stupid state of Kentucky. We have these stupid new drivers license locations that are regionally located and not near as close as going to the court house like we used to do. And somehow, some way, we wound up with a liberal, pro abortion, pro homosexual marriage, governor who’s running all over the country doing interviews and trying to help other liberal dems get elected. And who’s paying for all those trips. If Kentucky didn’t have a republican legislature, we’d be in a bigger mess than we’re already in. So move to Tennessee just south of the state line so that you have access to Kentucky stores.
@lizbethsdadHelpful, thanks
@Barbara-c2s1zAnother thing about Kentucky homes: A lot more of them have basements than in TN.
@OhNoItsReubenCould you throw in WV into this comparison
@marydomitrovic3468I live a little bit West of Richmond Kentucky over near Waco on the Madison esta line if I had to direct people to the best state to move to I would say Tennessee cuz Kentucky's awful we don't need any more people here we're just fine.
But honestly the rate that Richmond Kentucky is growing because of all the people from Lexington moving down that way is absolutely disgusting they are building houses and businesses everywhere
I was between lexington nd knoxville. Thank you so much for your channel!
@syriahmorgan5066Tennessee is fun, Kentucky is boring.
@viniciusmagnoni6492We live in northern KY. Just bought a lake house in TN. I work remotely. We've already transferred our cars to TN to avoid the property tax. I intend to change my residency- no state income tax.
@342bosskentucky has a much higher overall tax rate
@deltaforce7026My ex-friend Diane in Kentucky and she sucks so living in Tennessee is probably best
@MainlychesscontentNorthern Kentucky is by far the best area to live in. You have the positives outlined in the video plus the opportunities offered by close proximity to Cincinnati.
@georgerogers3764Neither. Both states are backward welfare collecting shit.
@kenc1000i thought i caught a bit of A KY BIAS than you said ‘we’. Nice
@CostaTzu1984I live in Kentucky and pay $75 to tag a 20 year old truck, with no tickets or accidents pay out $2800 a year for car insurance ( liability on my truck and my wife’s 10 year old car and full coverage on our 3 year old Sonata) I’m retired and don’t want to be here but my spouse is not , I wanted to go farther South CHEAPER
@GALAXYBROS1013I don’t have friends in Kentucky,but in Tennessee I do a lot of them. I’m planning to move in Tennessee next year,around Nashville
@ChrisLand-z9jI've lived in Kentucky and in Tennessee so i don't exactly have a preference i like both .I got back from working out west and Tennessee has drastically got more expensive so will be looking in Kentucky but will making a drive into Tennessee for work
@bobbydulco5296Great video thank you!
