Jimmy Tries To Get Fired | Inflatable | Better Call Saul
Video Overview & Insights
Jimmy intentionally disrupts the office in order to get fired from D&M.
I never knew people considered this scene a self-destructive move. Jimmy was simply not wired for Davis and Main, for better or worse. This was a long time coming. Just cause a job is prestigious doesn't mean it's good for *you*.

From Season 2, Episode 7 'Inflatable' - When Mike's hand is forced, he can no longer hide his frustration; Mike and Jimmy work together to keep the peace.
Seems composed by this concrete scene. Brilliant!

This is the moment when Clifford became Don Clifford
Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

I actually really dig Jimmy's flamboyant clothing

The editing in this show is very creative
@deadroses19Poor cliff
@GorillaFan_32“Dude, I’m from Michigan.”
“…So you don’t understand a word I’ve been saying!”
Gets me EVERY time 😂😂😂
Jimmy defecated through the sunroof, and did not flush.
@abl5597We had someone who didnt flush in my office recently, and not only did they not flush but they missed the bowl.
@glostergloster6945The deflating bag after he dumps it…
@duncanmoore9484Trying to explain to that cleaner how to do his job in very poor spanish may be the least favourite thing I've seen Jimmy do. And I've seen him peddle money for a drug lord!
@exobytemonolith5339This is strangely the most painful thing to watch Jimmy choose to do in the show The issues he has seems so trivial and him getting himself fired feels like an extreme overreaction.
@changer_of_ways_999I wanna work in davis and main. Its my dream place.
@1sonance-o1bEverything was ethical in the process of trying to fire himself. He bought a juicer FOR the office, wore a suit everyday (just wacky colors), and played an instrument in his office even when his associates also played their own instruments
@AcfranoThis is my favorite scene from Better Call Saul.
I know that there are better scenes, but I love the editing and the comedy, it is legit gold.
Funniest sequence in the entire show
@taiwo2729Not flushing is crazy work from him 😂 I just noticed Kim doesnt know half of the stuff he is pulling everywhere
@Laura-of5cuThis right here is a testament to the validity of Chuck's fears - Jimmy's stans often engage in hypotheticals of how Jimmy would come good if only Chuck trusted him enough to work at their firm. Well, here's Jimmy being given a chance as good as any, and we all know how this unfolds. Chuck is a flawed character but his estimation of his brother couldn't be truer.
@user-cu5ko5ys3dthe only bit this vid is missing is the drive by the inflatable and the look of taken inspiration!
@Mgis90This is the moment Jimmy became Heisenberg
@jakubbrincko680The guy from Michigan waits more than a minute to let Jimmy know he speaks English, just to let him ridicule himself XD
@ArturoGtzCalvilloКлифф такой: инвестировал в говно 💩
@ah_mLoL3:00 The moment Cliff realized Jimmy was playing him like a bagpipe.
@justincruz5720Capping off the montage with Jimmy playing the bagpipes obnoxiously in the office has to be one of the funniest scenes in the show. I was dying laughing when I first saw this.
@MosadAgentLmaoooooooo
@Julyrulai1:50 Backwardo was Jesse’s Superhero name 🤣🤣
@MaCabaretAnd cocobolo desk...
@CzesławWitoldThis was the only time I hated Jimmy. He got recommended by Kim and Howard who literally hooked him up with a great job and he screws it all up because he just wants the bonus. Cliff gave him so many chances too. I’d happily trade in my boss for a boss like Cliff.
@ichangedmyusernamebecausei2551there are 3 instances in the show where Jimmy is a real dipshit. this is one of them.
@MusikCassetteThis whole arc was ultimate secondhand embarrassment.
@BatmanHQYT2I actually like his first suit
@reginaphalange9417Jimmy and Sheldon did such admirable job bothering Cliff / Dr. Linkletter
@diegov2631Jimmy is all that his brother predicted to be.
The last lines from cliff & main and Jimmy are both True.
What's the title of this song?
@gustavgnoettgenLOL @ 1:49 "Don Clifford wants his floors clean...limpia" .......Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul have done a lot of brilliant little musical montages during their respective runs and imo this is the best one of em all.
@Mattblaze1477Absolute Cinema
@Nine9005this part of the series lives rent free in my head
@laviolentanieblaWhat's the song in this one?
@Taleof2stanleysmore specifically, Jimmy is trying to get fired without cause
@lander77477We need the water
@TPFB1290:21 mustache guy entering in the post-credits scene of a WW1 documentary
@SneedFeedAndSeedJimmy had no problem with Davis&Main people disliking him but had a problem with Irene's group disliking him.
@babbisp1Hey, we need the water.
--- jimmy
He genuinely looked great in those suits though lol
@kristinalfc5846If I were put on probation for an ad that I was in charge of, I’d do the same. Everyone here is sucking off on white collar corporate jobs like the people this show is making fun of.
The whole low flow bit was a jab at Erin giving Jimmy a hard time about throwing cans away in the recycling bin. The bagpipes were caricaturing Cliff’s guitar. Guys should’ve just left him in charge of Sandpiper.
This is my favorite montage in cinema history, and one of my favorite sequences in this show.
@bland2467I know this is suppose to show how unprofessional and bad Jimmy can be to his surroundings but damn if this scene isn’t a fun showcase of Saul Goodman’s antics. Just pure unbridled silliness, and it’s the most fun Jimmy has had since he joined Davis and Main
@kaz7690Ngl, Jimmy’s suits absolutely slap. I wear something similar in my office (my turquoise and violet blazer is a go-to when meeting new clients)
@Kill3rballoonA show like this takes a lot of imagination.
