There is nothing stopping anyone from going to school paying attention, surrounding themselves with good people, getting good grades and going to college and making a career for themselves whether it be working for someone or creating their own business. The only thing stopping them are their own decisions. Its all choices. If you choose to be successful and put in the work you will be successful. If you are born into poverty no one is going to hand you success you have to make the opportunity happen for yourself. No one owes you anything, Its just the way the world works. Sure some people are born into success by having success passed on to them from their families but just because someone out there had it easier than you doesn't mean its not possible for you. Opportunity can be created through hard work and it isnt always easy.

Two ways of making wealth.. you use creative thinking or use fiscial work ... You get paid for thinking or get paid for making.. two different way of living... Think and having good ideas pays better ... Money is something that we should learn how it works ... There's is people building wealth from scratch.. the difference is they know or learn how money operates in a financial system and look to solve human kind needs to set a successful source of createing wealth.. investing knowledge also.. government doesn't make people rich..

The rich are just responsible, practical and chose to adabt while the middle class are stuck in their self victimization and social moral beliefs

Getting rich is self-denial and planning for a tomorrow you are not guaranteed.

1st topic and they’re already complaining about public transpo and using a car as if having a car in this country is a barrier. The poorest of the poor in the US can afford to get a car. You can buy one for $500. There are even people donating cars! This is unheard of anywhere else! In many countries like where I migrated from you have to be upper middle class to he able to afford one!

I don’t have time to listen to people IN AMERICA who say they just can’t get ahead. It makes my skin crawl to know there are such people out there and that I have to support them with my taxes and with higher prices for the stuff I buy.

Is hard for people to hear that people that have money and assets get much better opportunities in life..... Is a realistic for a multimillionaire father NOT to give opportunities to his children and family? I still think that this country gives the chance to lower income bracket the chance you wouldn't get anywhere else in the world.

Do you just roll over and accept your circumstances? Stay in the hood etc...Or do you want to change your circustamstances. Because where you came from was the example to do better? My family came from nothing. And worked their way through the systems. My Dad told me if it wasnt for affirmative action he wouldnt have had the success he had. It's affected him grealty. And generationly if your mom was poor, your dad was poor....more than likely...monkey see monkey do. So the left side can't sit here and cry when they have not said anything that they have done to get themselves out of their circumstances. The right side did everything they could to have the courage to change their circumstances. They had a goal that became their north star. The left side has complaints and not solutions. It’s discipline. If it was luck or privilege, that lottery ticket that I bought would have hit, or that $20 I spent on blackjack in Vegas would have hit. I worked a regular job along side my coworkers who made the same as I did. While they bought multiple cars, houses and traveled, lived below my means, saved and invested. Today my investments and retirement is well into the millions, theirs isn’t. We both had the same starting point. Doing what it takes to make it to the finish line doesn’t make me privileged.

It’s not a set thing but a number of things. The system overall is geared toward a slow pace growth to wealth. However, there is support for many ways to speed up the pace. I know in my own experience it’s not what you know only, but who you know as well. Some of these people are born in networks that bestow upward mobility paths. Yes systems work against people, however movements are never just straight in any approach.

As a non millionaire I low key agree with the millionaires on this one the regular people were complaining and the millionaires were just saying that things are how they are and make it happen regardless

Starting off is a matter of luck for sure, but where you end up is a matter of a whole series of outcomes and you control most of them. Obviously you need to be healthy but overall luck is when discipline meets an opportunity. You can argue systemic things put in place but if you sacrifice today, tomorrow’s gain will come if not for you directly then for your family and that’s the reason why we push. For a better tomorrow.

I hate the word privilege because it’s saying you didn’t work for it. A guy is always saying we’re privileged to be in the state we live in, I’m thinking I lived in a trailer raised by my grandma I worked for this I earned my way here. I had a regular job not on the level of these people and I still made it

Instead of having aVictim mentality, you accept and understand the hands you are dealt and work on solutions. Sure it’s luck, but having a mindset help tremendously

I’m a 41-year-old Black American, born into abject poverty. The only thing that stopped me from advancing in this life has been me and my stubbornness. Even with that… I have zero debt. I own (not lease/finance) a vehicle that can autonomously drive me to and from work. I can take any trip I want on a moment’s notice. I didn’t get here by blaming slavery, white peoples, society, etc. for my short comings. If you’re reading this, it’s you. It’s you that is stopping you from succeeding in this life. You must unalive that person to become the person you want to be. The alternative that these people keep pushing is socialism. It has not and will never work because of human nature. That nature is built into all humans. We all recognize that if someone gets the same pay/resources as you… they better be putting in the same work/effort… and that’s why socialism always fails.

I feel like it's a mental shift I was starting a record label, Lawncare, car auctions, first job, getting my DBA ein by 14 just from reading 📚 & we was poor, luck is something you make, but when yo fam wealthy that's called privileged & that was what middle-class was to me since we were renters I own now but nobody gave me anything until I didn't need it

It’s a mindset for sure. I’m a 401k millionaire. If you aren’t investing and you don’t prioritize owning a home your net worth will be nonexistent

Nothing is impossible by any means., but I will say I have a cousin who is a nepo baby and never worked a day in his life., his father my uncle, who I respect. Built an automation company into an empire probably worth 50 million net worth. His son inherited all he did was play hockey his entire life until 37 semi pro. Barely got paid. But now he runs the empire and gets all the fruits of his father’s labor. He has the new corvette and 7000 sq foot house 🏠 multiple trips every year… etc. me I have multiple trade tickets etc but grew up poor. I have a house etc. but the point is money can make up ground so fast. My cousin is an idiot 😂 and he is living life like a rockstar. All because he was born into 💵. Thats my 2 cents

I had a roommates in college like this. They could stay up all night playing video games and smoking weed instead of bettering themselves.

They dropped out and went to a community college. They make shit money now and constantly complain about how the system is rigged.
