FIFA should be protested for caving to US pressure, and refusals to grant Iran's entire Team Visas and Access, for the game. FIFA has betrayed its historical position, taken in the 1960's - when the UK tried unsuccessfully to harass the DPRK's Team. FIFA are traitors to their past positions of integrity, like these Monarchists and Z👁️onists are traitors to Iran.

All football team members are hired by the Islamic republic. They are not the representative of Iranian people...They are the supporter of the evil government.

I normally despise bringing politics into sports events, but in this case it is highly relevant and the people involved are all entirely respectful as far as I can see.

@toditron

This is not our national team. The Islamic Republic is a terrorist regime that has taken our country hostage. Long live Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi.

what do the iranian athletes have to do with their protest?

@263fjbenitez04

FIFA ruined all the effort people had put into watching the game, supported the child-killing regime of Iran, and insulted the spectators.

Wow only a dozen protestors

@anonymoushuman8647

Any other group of this size would not even receive the media attention. There hasn’t been a greater time of unity with Iranians who all reasonably feel attacked with their infrastructure destroyed and schools bombed. I actually love these idiots because my cousin’s in Iran look at them like they are insane. Reza Palavi absolutely tarnished his credibility with his constant display of support of Isreal and constant bashing of Iranian civilians like these soccer players calling the terrorist. His cultish supporters can’t make his case any better showing their true selves during moments like this. Keep up the great work.

2 Sides to what this flag represents:

Political Repression and Human Rights Abuses: The Shah ruled as an autocrat, systematically suppressing political dissent, opposition parties, and free speech. His ruthless secret police, SAVAK, were widely feared for arbitrarily arresting, censoring, and torturing dissidents and political prisoners.Forced Westernization and Cultural Insensitivity: His "White Revolution" initiatives and modernization policies were frequently perceived as aggressive, forced Westernization. Mandates—such as the banning of traditional Islamic veils by his father and later state-sponsored secularization efforts—offended conservative Iranians and the powerful Shia clergy, who viewed these moves as attacks on their religious and cultural identity

The Iranian team received a warmer welcome from Mexicans in Tijuana than from their own people. What a shame!

@truth_teller571

DON'T FORGET THis: They killed tens of thousands of Iranians in 2 days. In 2 days!

In Tehran, right now, it's the time for the Iran-New Zealand game. No one is waiting for Iran to win. Everyone is waiting for them to lose so they can celebrate. Like in the previous game, when they lost to England and America, everyone was happy. None of the ordinary Iranians agree with this team.

@Ironireza
@

This isn’t Iran’s team. They made their choice, and it wasn’t the Iranian people. They looked away while 40,000 Iranians paid the price with their blood.

@Rabbhole
@

This football team doesn’t represent Iran. They chose to stand with the devil and turned a blind eye to the blood of 40,000 Iranians.

@Rabbhole

They should protest the PDF we have in the Whitehouse as well
