Typical politician don’t have answers for you at this point and by the way, how did you track me down? I serve the public I don’t serve the CBC which by the way is public. This is the way our government works. Are they really working for you? wow you’ll be the judge He may have told you what they’d like to do, but what will they really do?

And believe me at what credit cards charge interest the banks don’t care the money is so good you can write off $1 billion and still give the finger to the public because well you’re the bank and you can do that. It’s like 6% of that 18% covers all the fraud and they don’t care it’s a cash cow. It’s all about doing the math. Risk versus reward. The banks know this very well so does visa and at the end of the day you’re a victim either way.

I got a call once like that apparently my name is Richard Nixon and I live at 1900 Pennsylvania Ave. it took this caller from India about 25 minutes to figure it out as they know nothing about US politics. Then he proceeded to tell me bad things about my mother, and that it was very hot in India. I love America

Why the fewer credit cards you have the better, I just got one of mine hacked ( I only had 3 two of them are bank cards). The none bank card was hacked but it took me nearly an hour on the phone to cancel the card (which I had only used sporadically in some years). The frustrating part was they kept trying to sell me a new account, they were totally uninterested in me just canceling the card. I simply told them to bugger off and I would not be paying the fraudulent charges.

It's not difficult. If anyone calls and you don't know them or the number don't answer!

Don't answer your phone unless the number comes up as someone you know. Anyone who wants to get ahold of you can leave a message, and you can return the call.
If scammers can't reach you directly by phone, it's one less way they can defraud you.

Contact your bank and credit card company directly and they will ask security questions. Do not ever give any information to any person who calls you directly.

One should only deal with well-reputable trusted banks. Don't ever be tempted by an offer. First, check the credential before dealing.

How can I get a card ?

Maybe a better idea is take away the power from the banks to come after you for payment. They are the ones who failed to do due diligence in insuring these person applying for credit really was the name on the account. The banks are making the mistakes, hold the banks accountable. Credit is too easy to come by.

And now all these people have their faces on Youtube. The scammers now can associate the face with the name.
