Multistrafing in cs2 is weird asf. Your much better off crouching if caught while holding WD WA or just W. Even then holding WD or WA is just a bad idea in general. holding SA or SD while repositioning is so much better because you can actively crouch while while doing so and holding an angle at the same time.

It really is about not just having your finger on the W key (or in my case the superior E key). The example here on Inferno is perfect. Get in position. Stop. Then strafe. To begin with you can use this mantra to help you. "Position. Reset. Strafe. Counter-Strafe." then repeat the next angle.

If you watch the pros you can see them doing this for just about every default angle as they move forward.

I recommend the workshop map Aim_Rush to work on this. Even Donk uses it, which is saying something.

Some games I can be in crazy off angles and I die in less than a nano second and others I can be in the most obvious spot but they look straight up 😂 like what. Obviously that’s not true just sometimes the angles I’m in I’ve never seen people in and I die

Hey, thanks for the tutorial! I had a question about the peek at 1:22 wouldn't it be better to peek a bit farther away from the angle? My understanding is that when you're closer to the wall, the enemy can see your shoulder before you see them, so peeking from farther away helps reduce that disadvantage. I also noticed that this peek seems to expose you to pit/water/grill I know it's probably uncommon for someone to be there, but would keeping the peek tighter help minimize the number of angles you're exposed to? I could be misunderstanding something, so I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks again for the guide!
