FLOUR TORTILLA INGREDIENTS:
Quezadillas and burito recipe pls
►3 cups all-purpose flour, plus extra for rolling
►1 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
EVERY time I make flour tortillas, the very last one I make I have to put butter on it and eat it.😊
►1 tsp baking powder
►5 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened
Why my tortillas get really hard after they cool off? Is it because I didn't put enough lard or I put to much baking powder?
►1 cup hot water, or as needed to form a dough

3:02 How to cook tortillas
Forget reading the ingredients on store bought, just tasting them along side this recipe means you will never buy store bought again. I have been doing these for years now, but it takes a long time to roll a dozen or more tortillas that takes time away from fajitas or whatever you need tortillas for. I also use for cheese crisps, which I make around 16", then use block sharp cheddar/ Monterey jack and shred myself. I am going to try a quality tortilla press, but still concerned they won't be thin enough. I imagine getting close and touching up with a roller may be the strategy worse case scenario, and would still save immense time. The taste is worth it, but I will try to recover some of my time back. I will say it is nice having a big Blackstone griddle as I can cook many of these at once, not too mention the large ones. Anyway, thanks for the recipe, it is a family favorite!

@ReahMaybellehow do you store it?
@ReahMaybelleI struggled to roll them thin enough then once in the pan the dough shrunk back. I was told that I need to let it rest longer.
@tj9382MAGA LOVER !!!!! YUCK !!! 🤢
@Tea-mi3dwWhy butter why! 😢😢😢😢

@oot-n-abootThanks for this video! :)
I do not have a non stick pan, can I use oil in the pan? And, can they be stored in a plastic bag without putting it into the fridge, or do we have to put it into the fridge?
I let my dough sit for 30 minutes. I tried to roll it out and it kept springing back and shrinking. When I put it on the skillet it was more like a pita than a tortilla. Not sure why this happened but I was super sad LOL
@jamiecabanaw2704you made cooking looks like fun, thank you 😃😀
@CHANTIPI'm making these now. I like how pliable they are. Thanks for sharing

@traceychivers1988Im having trouble forming bubbles in my tortillas. Please help?
@SunShineLady-d4rCan I use a stand mixer instead? Do we need yeast as well?
@laheart1957All-purpose flour (3 cups) → 360 g
• Fine sea salt (1 ½ tsp) → 9 g
• Baking powder (1 tsp) → 4 g
• Unsalted butter (5 Tbsp) → 70 g
• Hot water (1 cup) → 240 g
That looks amazing sweetheart ❤❤
@Kathaleen-w2yI only have a green pan nonstick and 500 temp would ruin it. Can I use stainless steel pan and spray with avocado oil?
@lynnmccoysloan7705Thank you so much for this recipe I just made some and they’re so delicious.😋 Will definitely be using this recipe forever now.❤️
@heatherb3411Sooo ..... Roti????
@Johanna-cf9inCUTE video...
@randymarko486The tortillas look amazing! But as far as all of the confusing ingredients in our food in Western countries, This is just because we use the scientific name when labeling stuff. People think that if they buy flour from Russia, or India it's going to be healthier because it only has two ingredients. well yes if the Western countries would lie and just say wheat flour, instead of breaking it down to the actual chemical composites of the wheat flour and the wheat and everything that is in flour. It looks a lot more scary. Do you want to see vitamin C from an orange or absorbic acid? It's the same thing. Most of our diseases are genetic anyway that's why Asians can eat all the rice they want and not become diabetic but not the same case for whites, Hispanics or people of African descent. So go ahead and make whatever you want and don't look at the ingredients It doesn't matter we're all going to die anyway. 😜
@Got_Your_6I saw sharky on the counter to her left for just a moment, then he disappeared.
