@barbrarinnerbarbra7576You often mention ETFs and they make sense in many countries in Europe. In Ireland ETS are simply not an option, for Irish residents as they are Tax prohibitive.
Your target audience is Europe but your advice is not applicable to all of Europe. This is the problem Europe faces, it simply doesnt encourage investing enough!
Either investment trusts (with higher fees) or individual stocks are the only sensible options in Ireland.. When it comes to Children the investments must being the childs name. Trusts and other structures are Also tax and fees prohibitive.

@adzicmilosI have to say it is absolutely not correct that stock picking is not a good investment. If you look at the S&P 500 and look into the data, it’s not been a good investment versus stock picking the 20% high performers. So it is absolutely better to stock pic than put your money into an ETF if you look into the data so what you’re teaching here is not correct.
@FlyingDeFiEU doesn't have any option or a law to open an investment account for your child. UK is the best place for investors and their kids..
