Gaga was the first celebrity I became obsessed with. Something shifted in my 4 year old brain when I saw the bad romance music video for the first time. I grew up and never forgot the sense of Nostalgia that video brought me. I think her ability to be herself is one of the things that taught me to be open minded in such a close minded area. Knowing people like her existed gave me comfort that when I came out as bi that there were people in the world who would not only Tolerate me but accept and celebrate me.

It's all fine and dandy to be in politics and all, but to mock people who you don't agree with, is just wrong. That's what turned me off from her. She's got great talent, but a bad attitude towards more than half the country.

The 2010’s saw the power of new technology collide with the aftermath of 2000’s celebrity obsession, forever changing the concepts of communication, celebrity, music and even politics.

It was truly the start of a whole new era where we would learn to communicate, learn and support our idols all through the internet, a tidal wave of change that was completely understood and pre-empted by the young Lady Gaga. In turn, she would go on to use all of these new avenues of communication to further her message and art as far as it could go.

@mustardwhoreAs someone that lives in the middle east and had really REALLY hard time growing up in a very small town in the middle of nowhere i just hope another you g artist come up and make young people that are living the life i lived feel heard and seen I don’t even care if this artist copies her or “steals” her ideas if it’s helping people then it does not matter. @missbellaizaGaga was the first one who really made me stuck on its music & art. She is the artist who has been changing, growing and developing herself. I grew with her. Her performance on the stage - something beyond. there is no a true STAR nowadays. I like some pop current music but I forget about it and singer after a few weeks. Really happy to grow up in the same time when Gaga came to the stage! Bravo, she is The Queen of Music. Not just pop music. True artist! I can't even imagine music without her
