A lot of people say Davinci Resolve is a beast to learn. I have deleted it from my computer twice . . .but, I don't know.

Biggest thing that can’t be taught is creativity! Been making short films since high school but not posting them because I’m a perfectionist. And now it’s just people trying to copy viral videos… be the one that people copy, if you don’t love it, no one will.. unless you’re Stanley Kubrick(he hated the shining)

@sg.gaming5972This channel is worth sharing This deserves recognition.
@MccullorsGelbachThe editing is top notch I enjoyed every second of it.
@GallatinGuererainsightful video man, this helps a lot!
@Clipping.crackingThe editing is very impressive I enjoyed every second of it.
@CorboFrisbieThe way you present is really helpful It helped me understand better.
@CorboFrisbieStrange that hardly any of the people explaining editing on youTube appreciate the value of voice-over. They think that having their face on the screen talking at you conveys some important information that their voice alone wouldn't. Go figure.
@workingTchrthis felt less like a video and more like sitting with a friend passionately explaining something at 1am 😭🔥
@ViktorPetroOvGreat content like always!
@VideoEdittingTipsByAliceHahaha
@UMEXONSTUDIOThank u so much how can I contact u personally I need ur help
@namutebimargret7647IDK who did it first, but this video and "How I would learn music production (If I had to start over in 2026)" by TheCosmicAcademy are exacly the same. Even the discourse, intro, video structure... someone copied the other.
EDIT: LMAO It's literally the same script, same 6 point division explained in the exact same way with the same sentences just adapted. This is crazy. Either blatant plagiarism or AI is doing some heavy lifting here
The editing is underrated It helped me understand better.
@ramlahiftikhar-j6gBruh i am 17 and i started watching ure videos🙂
@CandyCrush-c4wSuper helpful
@Fl4MES_11Thank You❤
@snoozedeepThank you, your Brilliant :)
@palvarez01whats a good software thats free?
@the_shadow7022Genius!
@RodrigoJosé-r1x1. Mindset shift:
A. Story first, tools later
B. Think like your audience eg should it be super energetic, what kind of music: sophisticated or energetic
C. Start with why.
2. Chose your software. Davinci resolve is pocket friendly for the start and helps with colour grading.
Don't try to learn everything at once. It is distracting.
3. Fundamentals
Composition & Design. (how your video looks and how elements are organised. Hierarchy, colour (contrasting and complimentary), & Balance.
Storytelling.
Sound. Dialogue, sfx and music should be balance.
Pacing with music.
4. Never stop learning.
5. Work with others eg finding a job at an agency and you get to understand the business side, find a mentor, join a community of like minded people, work with clients more personally.
6. Make yourself more valuable.
A. Personal brand. Showcase your work, profiles on LinkedIn
Show yourself. This makes people want to work with you vs you working for them.
B. Complementary skills: visual design skills, story telling, business skills, communication + professionalism (matters a lot)
Be clear with deliverables, draft contracts. Language.
Care about the work that you do.
Skillshare? I am stopping the video now
@mairamtajogiCan I have you as my mentor then? There's not a lot of people I know who knows video editing.
@abrarhamim4491I just realize I can understand what ur saying without any subtitles. My english gets better
@yorumsadeceegood video thank you! just one thing: the audio sounds wrong, the highs are crunchy especially when sped up
@AndrásGyarmatimake me expert alike you and maybe make video about it or prove to yourself you made a specialist
@MorettiCaliradothe 5 hour davinci resolve masterclass
@adamjefrilamYour crazy edit is giving me depression...but jokes aside damn your editing is so smooth!
