Why the question to the Filipina was quite different from the rest? Singaporean low pov towards Filipinos? Lol

Been visiting Singapore for the first time last week and based on my 5 day trip i noticed:

1. I like the environment and how they treat and take care of their country.

2. But yeaa ofc living in singapore is hella expensive the cost of living (rent, food, transportation, gas, etc..)

i was having thoughts that i might planning to live in singapore and find a proper job and i wanna help my fam for what they've done to me and helped me

I really like what the older man said, he has been here for the same number of years than me, unfortunately he owns a condo and probably had a successful career, for personal reason it was not my case and the cost of living is forcing, even if I am Singaporean, to leave my beloved country to live somewhere more affordable. It's really breaking my heart, I wanted to end my life here but financially it's extremely challenging... and I am not talking about expats but for local, like me, having to work at 67 and more years to come and I am not sure my body will follow very long... so for me that's the downfall of the country I adore, respect and brought me so so much, including raising safely 2 girls on my own with absolutely no worries like u find in many other countries. So at least, my job is done for them

I have visited Singapore and you can have very affordable lunches, like 4 or 5 USD per lunch. It is just a matter of looking for affordable places.

These are not expats. Expat means the company sends you there and pays for everything. These are majority economic refugees, the live in Singapore for better pay and opportunities.

Thank you so much for sharing this video! I have one question. Why there’s no black people in Singapore 🇸🇬? I didn’t see even one black person in your video. Is Singapore racist? Please show me a black person in your video. Thank you for sharing again!

It's hard to chose where to settle ! I left my engineering job in France for some time off, and I would love to settle elsewhere (somewhere sunnier than where I'm from with equal or better purchasing power)... And man, it seems like it's either Sydney, Singapore or California but it doesn't seem easy at all to afford housing in any of those !

been here for 13 years, identified as a local, planned my life here till retirement; but people keep calling "go back" to me on the streets. same happens at workplaces. so i disagree with all their definitions of the turning point. reality is harsh.

If they're living somewhere for a long time, they're not expats they're immigrants. It's time to use the correct term.
