I am here in 2026. Just found this and as someone who is absolutley obsessed with this song, particularly the the Heart version, I often compare other covers to see where the similarities are and are not. This lead singer has an amazing voice for sure. Mad props to her and this cover is spectacular for a lot of reasons, however, I've yet to find one where the vocalist can hit the high (time stamp 2:05 in this version) from the first note like Ann Wilson did in the original. Here, Jess leads into it with a slight rise up to the high note. Not a big deal but for me, the way Ann hits it on the first belt with no rise is precisely why THAT version absolutely gives me chills and makes me somewhat emotional every time I hear Heart's recorded version of the song. Again, not taking ANYTHING away from this beautiful singers rendition, she is amazing indeed, but subtle differences are really fun for me.
