Genius Detective Tricks Guilty Suspect Into Confession
Video Overview & Insights
This is 26-year-old Joe Roberts, and he just made himself the top suspect in the mysterious disappearance of Brittany Tavar. What he didn’t realize was that he was being interrogated by Florida’s best detectives, who had flown across the country, determined to find Brittany and uncover his dark secret.
Brittany Tavar was known as a free-spirited woman, the kind of person who never let her family’s wealth go to her head. She lived in St. Augustine, supported by some family money, and was a regular at the oceanside Serenata Beach Club.
On July 5, 2010, Brittany attended a party at the beach club—a party that would become her last known sighting.
Why don’t these parasites get the death penalty , with a fast execution, there is no doubt he is guilt , and a complete useless human being .. oh wait , they didn’t even give him life without parole ..smh
At the time, Brittany was involved in a court case against one of her neighbors, Anne, seeking a repeat violence injunction. She was scheduled to appear in court on July 6, but she never showed up.
Her absence was noticed immediately, prompting her friends to check in on her. When they saw her car was gone and got no response at the door, they decided to break in—but Brittany was nowhere to be found. That same day, her friend Brenda filed a missing persons report, officially beginning the search for Brittany Tavar.
In this world , a woman - technically Nobody should be that trusting with a stranger they meet in public .. don’t invite them iinto your life ffs ,

@TruthmosesHe messed up when he said I will talk to you with out an attorney present..
@ChristopherDonahue-k9zWhy are these criminals so stupid??!!
@121fiveThis must be a promotional video for the American Bar Association or something. Great acting though.😟
@willgoodall6104What became off the dogs.
@catherinefleming8254This story should be a great example of why you shouldn’t let complete strangers in to your home. Also, I don’t think it would take a “genius” detective to get this moron to spill his guts. I swear if you look up the definition of an absolute idiot. This guys face would be there. Right beside wade wilson.
@NicoleKimseyI m not comfortable with people saying how stupid he is to not ask a lawyer and help a killer making his way out of this . Good thing and thank god that is also confirmed fucking but very STUPId *
@CoConutCREAMPIEXxXJudging by the deep stress in his intake of breaths, he was ready to offload.
@U2Br-l6pMy 15 year old daughter can lie 100 times more convincingly than he was in the first 10 minutes
@A-Thousand-Eyes-And-OneGarbage.
@gerardobetancourt8384No good deed goes unpunished
@JBush-et7jqHe must’ve talked to detectives before cause they allways trying to get u to confess to anything to everything even if you’re innocent just have a can of Pepsi
@Crs2-u7zShe "was" just a friend. Uh-oh. This yammering idiot has likely never seen a corner he couldn't paint himself into.
@josephgalloartAt first, he said he called her but couldn’t get a hold of her then he said she gave him her cell phone so she was the one that was supposed to call but he didn’t have a charger despite having her debit card. Plus, you’re driving all the way across the United States with no access to a phone? Then, you didn’t even take her her car back how are you gonna get her her credit card back?
@JayNikkiiThe narrator is an idiot sometimes
@andrew63345.. Al fin y al cabo anglosajón... Con seguridad.. Drogadicto... Como el defraudador, pederasta y genocida Donald Trump
@batoloco4ever-x7nI will confess to everything, if only you assure me that you do not see a monster in me.
@thomasgoetz8178admissibility of evidence? probably the confession. Was there an adequate break between him invoking his rights and the continuation of the interrogation? Can not tell from the video, but.... 30 years? He will be eligible for parole in time and will be released. They had a first-degree case and blew it.
@neilulrich-l5zRidiculous
@rushinr2hThis dude only gets 30 years? Why was he even offered a plea deal? Feels like he would definitely have received th first degree murder conviction if this went to trial?
@ghazali22I can't watch the AI
@beckyk2917video animated in blender?
@stickysteve14Often times when a business deal doesn’t work out I’ll say hey why don’t you just borrow my car, my cell phone, and my bank cards. No hard feelings.
@Dan.UnitasWhy are you instructing future generations how to be smart ????
@CW-qn1tkOMG this dude doesn't have a clue what to say, He is constantly saying, Um, I mean, and uh. He never seems to finish what he is saying, jumping from thing to thing. I don't understand how these cops can make sense of his ramblings.
@Blazingman420There nothing funny about this but the story this dipshit came up with was a doozy.
@ToadnipsHe's a confabulator he believes his own lies. Saying the phone died when in reality a woman died I guess he forgot to steal the charger because he can't do anything without someone doing it for him
@amyteurlife9408Sometimes it's as if they do a crime just to be able to get a free cigarette
@amyteurlife9408"I'll tell them she let me take her car, her phone, her credit cards, and her jewelry. That is a completely normal thing that people do"
@EMW_MusicThe death sentence.
@gsx-h8cWe know that is fishing. No one on earth gives up their cards and information freely
@gsx-h8cHe probably didn’t want to go back to his cell
@conartistic8704For someone who doesn’t remember shit, he sure does remember everything
@tRex.mixtecas3:33 this part is headache inducing
Cool it with the camera pans
Coulda got a boat to Cuba.
@andrewfield5656Detective: "I know you're not a bad person"
Criminal: " I'm f**ked "
SUUURE, you wanted to runt ot Mexico instead of Canada, yeah, thats what you WANTED them to think, brilliant guy... Nice shoplift btw, Reddington level of evasion.
@frog382"I want a lawyer". Continues interrogation. I thought you said these guys were geniuses?
@thelimatheouRIP Brittany
@frank327I don't think I'd talk to cops even if I was innocent, sloppy police work gets you arrested
@Kurio71Yes you can borrow my car, phone, and debit card to go to Seattle….said nobody ever. What a low IQ individual.
@bjordan515Of all the things in this story who gives their cell phone away for two months.
@ROFO79We were hanging out …..Yadda Yadda Yadda she’s dead and I’m here
@bigcee8914“Do you want to be thought of as a monster or a good person that just made a mistake?”
Either way, the suspect is going to prison
The phone died. Because I forgot to GRAB…😂 u had to borrow the charger as well, not simply grab it🗿
@3ulietteAre they going to file charges on that detectives barber?
@ThirdCoastElectronicsBecause the monster "can't remember" all the details he only gets 30 years?!?
@RTLichable
