From Giants Stadium To New Meadowlands Stadium

This is a personal tribute to Giants Stadium which has footage from the final months of Giants Stadium, and then the second ever Giants game at the New Meadowlands Stadium from September 26, 2010. Most of the footage, minus the demolition ones, were taken by me. Being a long time season ticket holder, Giants Stadium was like a second home to me, and to see it go was really sad. But, the New Meadowlands Stadium is a replacement nobody could have asked for. It's great. The song in this video is "Wrecking Ball" by Bruce Springsteen which was written for Giants Stadium and performed live for the first time on September 30, 2009 which I got to see. So here's to Giants Stadium!
Giants Stadium was like a second home, its destruction is a horrifying event. I can't wait to see the corporate money grab, trash can, JetLife demolished!

@CrazyKidAndFriendsI miss the old giants stadium and was very saddened to see it go... The stadium was synonymous to the giants as it was blue collar... I don't care if the tv screens aren't perfect hd, if the bathrooms are crowded, or if the concourses are too narrow, its what going to a football game is all about... football is supposed to be a hardnosed sport, and giants stadium oozed hard nosed... the sight lines were fine, this was a money stint that cost me my season tickets

Well said. Since I am in the same seats in the new one, as I was in the old one, it seems I'm in the same building with different seat colors, and more screens in better areas. I love the new one, but it doesn't have the same feel as Giants Stadium did. I wish I could walk up and down those spirals just one more time :/
