But your feet slide forward during the ride. I don’t think that there’s a perfect cleat position.

Bikefitjames advice worked great for me: start from cleats all the way back and all the way pushed inside, then fine tune from there

I have two different foot sizes by three numbers (EU). My left one has a 46 and the right one a 43. Should my cleat position of the right shoe be at the same position as the left one, to avoid different pedal strokes? Or should I move the left cleat position further back and the right one further forward, kind of a compromise two avoid different pedal strokes?

Great video! One question: @7:25, shouldn't I be moving my cleats narrower if my knees are going out rather than make them wider as suggested by the video?

07:54 Angle adjustments

08:55 Final fine-tuning

My steps for angle adjustment:
1. Center the cleats.
2. Ride the bike for a few kilometers in your usual position.
3. Make sure your foot is in the center of both sides.
4. If it leans to one side more than the other, correct it.

Not using cleats right now, but when I go back to them, I'll be mounting my cleats midfoot. Switching to flat pedals and putting the middle of my foot on the axle fixed the toe numbness i had been experiencing.
