They dominated the playoffs and won every trophy available this season—the Emirates NBA Cup, Eastern Conference title, and NBA Championship. My prediction for 2027, Spurs will be out in the 1st round and Wemby will be the 2nd version of K. Porzingas. ESPN was hyping it to get people to watch the game by highlighting even a sneeze from Wemby while discounting everything THE NY KNICKS did. If it wasn't for the referee this was also a SWEEP.

I've said it before, Spurs needs an experienced player in their team.

That was not wild at all. SA does not know how to play basketball. They mised 12 out of the last 15 possesions, because they where shooting mid range or 3 pointers. They had absolutely no idea how to attack the paint. Congrats NY! P.S. Wemby you are a disgutingly dirty player, and you dont know how to behave. All of the SA team a handshake is the bare minimum! This is just a rewatch of the worst-ever refereeing I've seen in a Final series, ever. It's a life-long relief to see the Knicks, as a 90s kid who loved the Ewing squads, win it finally... something still seems off with the refs. Every other series leading up to the finals was called judiciously, for sure, watched every minute I could. Finals hit entirely differently with the allowance of VERY physical basketball, probably the highest tolerance I've seen, but extremely borderline calls against the Knicks and complete gift calls for the Spurs. Someone really needs to do a compilation video.

Wemby will be more successful than Shaq and Yao in the long run because of his perimeter-to-paint versality and defense. He's about 100 lbs lighter than Shaq and Yao and can put on a little more muscle and continue to be as or more agile. With modern medicine he can make sure that he has a long career. We look at the series and see 4-1 NYK.

Consider the time remaining when it was last a one possession game (lead of 3 points or less)

Game 1: 2 point Knick lead with 1:11 left… NYK wins by ten

Game 2: 1 point NYK win (0:00 left on clock)

Game 3: 2 point spurs lead with around 7 seconds left. Spurs win by 4.

Game 4: 1 point NYK win (0:00 left on clock)

Game 5: 3 point NYK lead with about 9 seconds left… NYK wins by 4


Bottom line… games 2-5 were all super close one possession games down the wire in which NYK won by one (games 2 and 4) or one of them pulled away with under ten seconds left to win by four (spurs in game 3 and NYK in game 5). Game 5 was still a 2 point game with 1:11 remaining before NYK pulled away late.

Every single game could have gone either way outside game one since I can’t ignore an 11-0 run to close the game.

I just noticed that Wemby and some other players of SAS did not shake hands with the players of NYK.
