I live very close to where all of this was filmed. It's bizarre seeing these locations so empty. VERY good use of digitally masking / removing stuff like cars and pedestrians cause I promise these locations are all very busy and active. Especially that museum and the concourse under the NY Capitol.

So is This Guy actually hallucinating being alone in all of this? He sounds like he wants to be alone by choice and how he feels so alone.

this video hit surprisingly deep, when my dad died- a long time ago- I was like 12, I hated talking with people. My social anxiety was worse. I isolated myself from everyone, I knew it was wrong, but I couldn't- I wanted it. I hated people- and them comforting me- and their piteous glances, so I isolated me. Yo, at the time stamp 28:40ish with the video titled "The world is empty. Everything is mine. (Found Footage / Analog Horror)" there seems to be like a figure or smth that walking up the hallways. I believe its either a nester or Mr.whiteout. But either way the man seems to be completely unaware of the figure approaching him.

-Why isn’t food spoiling?
-If he’s the last human, how are his videos being recovered by the archivist? Clearly he can’t be the last human.

What if this isn’t a real apocalypse, and instead this isn’t reality at all? Maybe the main character has fallen into some sort of echo/shadow/mirror version of the reality he’s from?

He's out of reality. The world didn't have an apocalypse. His brain got psychotic break. He didn't register anyone. He wandered and picked up garbage while he thought it's grocery store. When things change places, some evidence of human peaked into his mind, he called them "nesters". He cannot stand losing relationship, being rejected, being criticised so his mind shuts off every living being.

It the latest video for 5 seconds he talked about how some things arnt how he remembered so maybe there's a possibility that he is not in the real earth
