This video reminds me in fact about one of the already outmoded communications tactics the French actually thought would work in WW2:
The French, (and, this'll infuriate anyone who likes common sense,) didn't use the available radio technology to relay information! So, what in the fk did the French do instead? Use bicycles to exchange messages. Damnit, radio technology already had existed for decades, "Nah, let's use: slow, occasionally unreliable and easily vulnerable bicyclists!" 🤦🏻♂️ I don't understand French history sometimes.
2:27 Single Envelopment
2:36 Pincer Movement

Fun fact: The Feigned Retreat tactic was used in the battle of Kircholm by the Poles. They pretended to retreat and the Swedes did the same, but little did they know, that it was a trap. Because when they started retreating, the Winged Hussars emerged from the fog and defeated nearly 8000 Swedes.

Great video! The explanation of Crossing the T was spot on—it’s such a classic example of how positioning can completely negate an enemy's superior firepower.

Blitzkrieg isn't an actual tactic and was as a word only used multiple decades later.
"Blitzkrieg" is pretty much a combination of multiple different tactics:
maneuver warfare + combined arms + envelopement/pincer movement + defeat in detail + much more depending on the details (e.g. air assault as part of encirclement -> Aussault on Belgian Forts in 1940).

Apok ik you're here
@TipwwmGonna use this in Helldivers 2.
@Fact-c676:51 i definitely use this in sniper 1v1s or any sniper vs sniper situation in videogames
@entity5279What about sneaky golem in the pocket
@awesomepoperScorched earth was used by Russia more against Napoleon than Germany 7:50
@Alibek11221Starting off with shooting medics... Great
@CHAOSINSURGENCY-q8bIf you ever played the total war series I bet you figured out at least half of these on your own
@georgestandring5831I'm surprised at how many of these I've used in rts or co-op shooters.
@torgranaelPINCER MOVEMENT ❌ Turan tactic
@SaaS-TimGuerilla tactic ant here and I'm mad about it
@BreadbuddyanimationsI use creeping barrage in helldivers in 2 different ways. I throw down my walking barrage strategem and chase it into their lines. And if I'm surrounded I drop it at my feet and weave through their forces with the barrage chasing me
@hf117jBlitzkrieg is literally just standard Prussian doctrine. The only difference is now Germans have tanks and methamphetamine
@LifesanL4976Anyone else remember specifically creeping barrage during history class during the WW1 unit
@willcoutts1323Ok thanks
