When they announced RDJ was Doom, I was not surprised at all. The set up that RDJ was NEVER TONY STARK and that something happened to Tony in this universe or he was killed, I'm guessing Kang took him, facilitating Howard Stark adopting a young latvarian boy to replace the son he lost, or that was kidnapped because I'm pretty sure he never told his wife.

Stretching like a mf aren’t we? Doom was clearly not meant to be shown so soon. They are just taking Kang’s storyline and throwing Doom in there with probably a few tweaks here and there. I think Kang was meant to introduce Doom. Like maybe Kang mentored Doom which is how Doom gets all his tech, magic, and knowledge of the multiverse and what will happen.

I hope they could just replace the actor of Kang, I think the build up of the story is actually great

If I’m correct I remember reading up on what was going to happen in Kang Dynasty they were going to introduce Doctor Doom in that movie almost making it seem like he was pulling the strings all along and having it end on a cliffhanger where DOOM and Kang were going to be the villains for secret wars, that’s why we see so many Easter eggs of Doctor Doom around the Kang era of Marvel Movies

The moment they told us Secret Wars was the Saga capper, I was fairly confident they'd involve Doom - you can't really do an adaptation of Hickman's work without him. I suspect he was either initially being saved to put together Battleworld after the multiverse was destroyed in Kang Dynasty, but the Majors situation changed the plans.

Essay inbound lol when I saw that Downey was going to be doom and that he has that scar it made what I was thinking a bit more clearer.

I reckon you're kinda right about the citadel belonging to some one else but it was the timeline that got 'pruned' by tva, but instead of it being completely destroyed kang used it as he hide away and a place to watch over the sacred time as instead of killing doom, when they pruned the timeline, Kang replaced Tony with victor so like you said he could still have that drive to create time travel etc.

When tony goes back to 1970 as well he finds out that the dates don't line with his birthday so the theory of tony being replaced with doom in the time line we been watching is viable.
When tony uses the stones and it damages his face it's the same place as doom's scar. So I think when he uses the stones it sends his true self (victor Von doom) to the citadel where he was originally from, but at that point Loki had become yggdrasil, doom with new powers from the stones, defeats Loki taking his powers aswell and causing the multiverse to become fragile, making all the incursions and what captain America did etc, cause the collapse of the whole multiverse, but doom knowing this would happen then find molecule man to take the power of the beyonders to create his battle world to save the multiverse and to become God emoprer doom.
And in doomsday we might see that happen but happens in the earth that the recent fantastic 4 was set in, then making the fantastic 4, go to other earths to help stop doom and molecule man and make the life rafts that Richards comes to battleworld in.

This is probably very fair fetched but we know marvel doesn't directly stick to the comics, also this may been something they would of set up with kang dynasty, but with majors being a naughty boy they had to skip all of that, so this could be their deviation, as it's clear they are going for 2015 secret wars not the original (which beyonder created battle world). I think this is probably the only way they could really open up to anything being possible and everything that has happened to be truly cannon. And when Richards gets given the power from doom by molecule man he sets up a new multiverse that opens up more possibilities for marvel.

They decided to go with Doom since they were going to introduce the Fantastic Four to the MCM.

And since they said they will tie Doomsday to the end of Endgame with new scenes, it feels like they try to skip the past 7 years and undo the bad shows and movies and only connect certain characters, storylines and movies/tv shows that are relevant to Doomsday.

Am I the only one that, after seeing that scene between loki, saying he would change the equation, and kang almost dead, feels like kang might have killed god loki before? (or saw him getting killed, idk, he at least shows a lot of respect) just to get in the throne? feels like a bootstrap paradox between doom, kang and loki. doom and kang want order in a system that is designed to grow exponentially naturally. incursions might be a property of this system while in the hands of loki.

A branch doesn’t just collapse if the stones were returned…that’s contrary to what Banner said and also to the Loki series. Once created, they continue. Also you’re thinking from human level perspective and assuming every reality is running in some kind of parallel time consistency. All those realties that started forming in the Loki series… they go from never existing to ‘always existing’. To their occupants they were never not there. That’s why the TVA ‘pruned’ like pruning a tree branch and not ‘destroyed’… because the branch will eventually grow back otherwise. The branches were always meant to form… the pruning is an attempt of control. A stop gap measure… like collecting a water leak in a bucket and then pouring that collected water back to the location of the leak over and over.

If Steve Rogers (Captain America) returned the stones but decided to stay in the past of a different parallel universe, then how did he get back to the primary MCU universe and chat with Bucky (Winter Soldier) and Sam Wilson (Falcon)? At some point, he had to return. Yet, he didn't come through the time/dimension portal. So, how did he get "back?" 🤔
