Dreamwave, I want to thank you for everything you've done for all of us in the community. For myself, this channel helped me discover lofi and chillhop music in the late 2010s during a time of transition in my life when I wanted to explore different genres, which sparked my interest in creating my own beats and songs, a hobby that I still partake in to this day.

I am insanely grateful for your contribution to the music side of YouTube for curating some of the best vibes on the internet, and I wish for only good things to happen to you from now going forward. Every one of these songs I heard for the first time in my high school days, smoking down and chatting with friends, spending quality time. I was planning to send you my new and first album thinking that maybe you would like it but i forgot about this. This channel means so much to me. It represents some of my most beautiful dreams. I always dreamed of living in places like those on the channel. The songs are always so calm, nostalgic and like they come from an another world. They take me to my dream life. I listened so much to you in highschool. Technically this is the last upload if we go by chronological order but as I’ve said it before many times, thank you for everything Dreamwave! Loved that you started with 90sflav Call me and ended with luv sic, really went full circle there.

I think you said it best, you were part of the reason why we kept going forward in life, in actuality, it was our drive in which made us continue to strive in life. My only regret I have for this channel is when I tuned out during 2020-2023 and coming back two uploads (yo - by omarr ) before your year+ hiatus. Ever since you came back, I had watched every upload and even commented every time for the weekly upload.

Sometimes I wish I can go back to March of 2017, when I found you channel but you and the rest of us know we have to keep moving forward in life and continue to do better. Thank you again for everything and the live stream was so fun! Listened the first two hours and then periodically throughout since I worked all day that day! I was lucky to listen to the last 2 hours once I got off and enjoyed the final moments of this channel. Hope everyone, including you Dreamwave, continue to succeed and improve in life! Dream on as one song from Aerosmith would say….

God... it's been a long time, I had lo-fi introduced to me when I was 8 in 2016 by my brothers, this was the era of vines and the start of musically, the continuance of lo-fi from 2013 to 2016 was held by cringy teens and little kids, my brothers included lol, they were in highschool at this time and had the whole vaporwave, future funk, idubbz filthy frank era going for them, this was a chaotic time for internet culture lol... this rounds back to lofi and your channel, this was my favorite part of internet culture from 2016 17 and 18, it started to decline around 2019 but had sort of push in covid. Sincerely thank you for exposing to me to many of my favorites, in a teary bittersweet way, I hope the other lofi channels follow suit, something feels poetic and right about throwing in the towel for something I say is bygone, however dramatic this seems. I wanted to say my thanks to all the amazing artists too, kavv, 90s flav, limlight, eery, driver, atlas, nohidea, clairo, mxmtoon
I am now 17 and a bit lost with myself, I hoped my highschool life was going to be van shoes, thrasher sweaters and day dreaming about a chill life. I find my own sort of peace now, but its nothing like what lo-fi has had for me back then. I wish you good health and happiness Dreamwave, you truly shared the world to me

Today's the two year anniversary of my nana passing away, she's my best friend. I'll always remember showing her 90's flav on our Colorado vacation in 2019, and she loved it. I ended up showing her more Dreamwave songs I found, and I'll always cherish that. Rest in peace Eusebia, and goodbye Dreamwave! 💖💕
