Best Flashcard App: A Review of Anki, Quizlet, Flashcard Lab, Cram, and Brainscape
Video Overview & Insights
Install Flashcard Lab: https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/flashcard_lab/934660656831
Okay, can i just get a simple flashcard app, with a simple layout, that doesnt use ai and isnt confusing ASF to use?
**NEW** Try the Flashcard Lab web app at https://flashcardlab.co
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tidisventures.flashcardlabmobile
Thank you for this wonderful review. Anki is difficult but I do like it so I'll start off there. I like how Quizlet gamifies things and also gives you multiple choice options but then you can also type out the word (if you are learning a different language) so it doesn't test your recall but also your typing and spelling of the word.

There are too many flashcard apps out there. Here are some of the most popular ones, and I tried them all so you donât have to. This video will go through:
I think ANKI is #1 however, learing curve is time wasted I wish someone could combine Anki and Quizlet
- User experience and learning curve
- Customization
you sound like catholic dwong
- Spaced repetition study (SRS)
- Price
Anki is brutal trash
Anki: https://apps.ankiweb.net/
Quizlet: https://quizlet.com/
I would just like to say that CRAM was abandoned years ago and than it was purchased by someone who paywalled it. I got lucky and exported all my flashcards to NOTEKNIGHT before I could not longer get to them.
Cram: https://cram.com/
Brainscape: https://brainscape.com/
Anki is too difficult. I spent at least 20 mins trying to figure out how to make flashcards and still couldn't figure it out. With quizlet I did it within a minute and started studying right away.

@ergosumadrieyl2927Hi, I'm A teacher and I want to make flashcards for students to use. I don't want the student's to have to pay. Which of these apps aiwll allow me to share my flashcards publicly with others without them having to pay to access the set?
@KM246-x3uAnki somehow ruined itself and will no longer work on my phone. So I'm here to find a different app. Way to ruin your app anki!!!
@bluelantern5241Super Helpful! Big Thank YOU!
@UndeniablyUndisputed1. ANKI
2. QUIZLET 5/5
3. FLASHCARD LABS
4.
Thanks for this video. I've tried Ankiapp and Quizlet and I can't find a way to insert a card. Once I've learned the cards, I want to learn them in order. Which of these apps can insert a card in an existing deck or ser?
@joev3018247â
@PersonManManManManThanks a lot, it was really useful for me
@liudmilla191Can you make a video tutorial on Omnisets? Think of it as a COMPLETELY free version of Quizlet with all of Quizlet's features. Let us know what you think.
@BodenBatuhinayFeyn is the best app for iOS by far
@samot1808Thanks for making such a detailed video to explain every aspect of all that apps, that was really helpful đ€đđ
@michaelkohl396Thanks a lot for your great video. I'll provide the link to students of my university so they can choose by themselves. BTW I use Anki on my phone via web browser. It works OK without paying. The mobile app is though way more user friendly on a phone
@wolfiejlcCan people print their flash cards from those apps or websites?
@benogeelione of the main functions, rating cards easy or hard, is missing on quizlet, how could you give it a 5stars???
@martinm2074Can you color code the digital flashcards on any of these programs? E.g. make the whole card light pink
@supnellssswhat flashcard is best for memorizing names from digital
photos?
Excellent job
@benoithamel7949thanks!
@sylamang4468This was very informative. Thanks!
@darthnightingale6086Guys, which word count is the best in a single study set
@BestRareRthanks
@æ”·éž„-s1zKindle app now has flashcards so according to you which is better
@ranjitrrI think Leitner Box is the best. But there is no useful app for it yet..
The ones that exist are very bad and not user-friendly and flexible..
In the box system we can see which box and learning stage the words are in. The original is include 7 boxes but I would add at least 12 boxes.... Anyway, in short, with Leitner Box we can have more control over the process and easy use.
Thank you, this video is amazing :)
@NaufalMikhdzamArRoziGreat job

I cant even figure out image occlusion on anki wtfâŠ
@imthrillz5255Why was clozemaster not on this list ?
@OzkAltBldgCoWhat about Remnote ?? đą
@Binhdubieewhat about the other features likes sound, autoreading. Not a very good review. Using your grading system I grade this review 2 out of 5
@the-WTFerI'm a long time user of anki but now I'm looking at making my own notes. Currently I'm making maths exercises on a tablet with a piece of paper that is digitised. I'm thinking about the best methods for organising both the physical and digitised notes
@ChristopherAdrien-zt7tbYou forgot Lexilize!
@TheMainMan_Xwe need an app for an iPhone or Mac where the flashcards are stored on our computers, not online and up to par with Quizlet - sounds, animations of flashcards, green or red color and so on.
Quizlet is the best, but they have access to all flashcards you create which is not good if you want to create flashcards with sensitive or top secret data.
All other alternatives look bland. No sounds, no nothing
Great video! Thanks
@flywhaIâm new to these type of softwares, Iâd do love to have anki on both my pc and my smartphone with a shared space. However anki mobile is 30 dollars, is it worth it and are there alternatives ?
@AtimozNo Flashcards Deluxe :(. I've been using that app since I got my first iPod Touch way way back in the day. I use that app for my custom decks and Anki for premade decks.
@paulwalther5237Please make a video tutorial of spaced repetition in anki with step by step guide. Pls........
I request you. Pls......
you swallow your words
